Pressure Measurement Devices, Methods, and Systems

A pressure measurement system includes a pressure pod with two chambers separated by a diaphragm such that a deformation/movement of the diaphragm is indicative of a difference between the pressures of the two chambers. Such deformation/movement is detected by a device that has no physical contact with the diaphragm, for example, by an optical detector that detects a change in the shape of the diaphragm or a movement of a protrusion on the diaphragm.

A probe device provides an enhanced bioelectric and spring-loaded sensing tip with an integrated force sensor. The probe device measures the bioelectric conductance value from a patient for therapeutic and/or diagnostic purpose using the spring-loaded sensing tip. In addition, the probe device measures the force applied by the spring-loaded sensing tip against the patient using the integrated force sensor. Using feedback from the force sensor and the bioconductive data of the patient, the force applied at the spring-loaded sensing tip may be adjusted to obtain improved results.

Deep ear sensor for reducing noise from movement and environment

An in-ear optical sensor device sits deep within the ear canal of a subject such that is in the cartilaginous region and/or the bony region of the ear canal where effects from temporomandibular joint activity or other movement, and external light, are limited. The device has a lateral housing and a medial articulating head joined at an articulation joint so that the medial articulating head may be angled relative to the lateral housing to help the device fit within tortuous ear canals. The device also includes a seal configured to conform to the shape of the ear canal to physically support the device to further limit movement and block environmental light. An audio receiver is also included in the device.

ANALYTE SENSOR DEVICES, CONNECTIONS, AND METHODS

Devices associated with on-body analyte sensor units are disclosed. These devices include any of packaging and/or loading systems, applicators and elements of the on-body sensor units themselves. Also, various approaches to connecting electrochemical analyte sensors to and/or within associated on-body analyte sensor units are disclosed. The connector approaches variously involve the use of unique sensor and ancillary element arrangements to facilitate assembly of separate electronics assemblies and sensor elements that are kept apart until the end user brings them together.
