Systems and methods for custom labeling of products
A method of custom labeling products in which users specify, via a purchasing interface, product label images in correspondence with products. A label group is generated for each of the users. The label group includes an indicator label image providing a purchase identifier and product identifiers, and the product label images arranged in a sequence specified by the product identifiers. The label groups are printed to produce printed label groups. The printed label groups are transferred to a labeling machine. A conveyor system is controlled to release, for each of the printed label groups, the sequence of the products specified by the product identifiers. Printed product labels of each of the printed label groups are applied to the corresponding sequence of the products.

LABEL APPLYING APPARATUS AND METHODS OF USE
A method of printing and applying a label to an item moving in a conveyance direction along a conveyance path involves: utilizing a print and labeling assembly that includes a label stock path that feeds label stock past a printer to print on a label of the label stock to produce a printed label that is dispensed in a first direction onto a label applying belt that moves in a second direction, wherein the first direction is substantially perpendicular to the second direction such that the printed label moves onto the label applying belt from a lateral side of the label applying belt; and the label applying belt moves the printed label into position to engage with the item as it moves along the conveyance path. A label print and apply system and apparatus is also provided.
Semi-automatic garment identifier and hanger labeling system
A semi-automatic garment identifier and hanger labeling system utilizes a label printer with a hanger guide to facilitate quick and error-free placement of an adhesive tag onto the hanger. The label printer is mounted in a printer frame with a guide assembly that guides the movement of a hanger in order to ensure proper placement of the tag onto the neck of a hanger. As the hanger is pushed through the guide assembly, an adhesive label is wrapped around the hanger to form a flag-type tag. A fan assembly ensures that the label is held flat on left and right label plates regardless of the remaining length of the label roll. Fingers at the back of the label plates close the adhesive label onto itself to achieve the flag-type tag shape. Software communicating with the printer and the cleaner point-of-sale system automates printing of the appropriate information on each tag.
Label peeling device
According to one embodiment, a label peeling device includes a tray, a pressing unit, and a control unit. The tray is configured to support a label sheet thereon. The pressing unit is configured to be driven in a direction perpendicular to a conveyance direction of the label sheet. The control unit is configured to drive the pressing unit toward a central portion of the label sheet supported on the tray. The control unit performs peeling control to peel a liner sheet and a label body of the label sheet from each other by pressing an edge of the label sheet and thereby curving the label sheet.
Temperature display device issuing apparatus
A temperature display device issuing apparatus is configured to issue a temperature display device including a temperature indicator having a function of starting temperature detection when irradiated with light. The temperature display device issuing apparatus includes: a printing/recording device configured to print time information on the temperature display device; an irradiation device configured to irradiate the light onto the temperature indicator of the temperature display device; and a controller configured to control printing in the printing/recording device and irradiation in the irradiation device.

Integrated label printer and barcode reader, and related systems and methods
A labeling device includes a printer configured to print labels each having a barcode on a print side of the label opposite an adhesive side of the label. The printer is also configured to direct each printed label in a direction of travel. The device includes a label applicator located downstream of the printer with respect to the direction of travel. The device also includes a barcode scanner that is located downstream of the printer with respect to the direction of travel and is configured to scan the barcode of each label before the label applicator presses the label against the package.
Printing apparatus, printing method and computer-readable medium
A printing apparatus includes a print head, a first cutter and a processor. The print head performs printing on a printing medium. The first cutter cuts the printing medium on which the print head has performed the printing. The first cutter trims away a corner at an end in a width direction of the printing medium. The processor controls the print head and the first cutter based on cutting information on an area to be trimmed by the first cutter so that a printing area of the printing medium is not cut by the first cutter.
