Stackable container

A container capable of being placed in a stacking configuration with an identical second container includes a bottom, a top rim defining an open top, and a sidewall contiguous with and extending between the bottom and the top rim to define an inner space. The container further includes a first curved structure forming at least part of the top rim adjacent a first sidewall side and a second curved structure forming at least part of the top rim adjacent a second sidewall side and disposed opposite the first curved structure. The container also includes first and second channels molded into the bottom and at least partially protruding into the inner space, the channels being substantially parallel to each other and to first and second sidewall ends, wherein a distance between the first and second channels is substantially equal to a first distance between the first and second curved structures.

The opening edge (43) includes a receiving shape (45) which interacts with a corresponding positioning device (55) on the tray (50) to define a predetermined inserted position of the insert tray (50) relative to the opening (46). The container arrangement (4) is configured for being pushed into and pulled out of the interior (2).

The packing machine is configured to transfer the goods put in the basket body together from the basket body to a container.

The shopping assistance system includes a basket body, a management system and a packing machine. The shopping basket includes a basket body, a goods information receiver and a transmitter. The basket body allows goods to be put in. The goods information receiver is configured to read respective goods information from each of the goods to acquire pieces of goods information on the goods. The transmitter is configured to transmit the pieces of goods information acquired through the goods information receiver. The management system includes a receiver configured to receive the pieces of goods information from the transmitter.
