Agricultural implement tool mounting assembly
A tool assembly for an agricultural implement includes a ground-engaging tool mounted to the implement support frame by an assembly of a support post, a mounting bracket and a frame mount. At least one of the support post and the mounting bracket includes a substantially cylindrical rod and a collar having an axial opening configured to receive the rod. An interface arrangement may provide multiple contact areas between the support post and the collar. A recessed pocket may retain a nut that threads onto set screw used to engage the rod, such as at a detent recess, and fix the position of the support post with respect to the mounting bracket. The mounting bracket may provide for alternate fore-aft and lateral mounting orientations.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REDUCING OR PREVENTING PLUGGING OF AN AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT
A system for reducing or preventing plugging of an agricultural implement includes a disk blade configured to rotate relative to soil within a field as the agricultural implement travels across the field. Furthermore, the system includes an electrode embedded within the disk blade. Additionally, the system includes a sensor configured to generate data indicative of a soil moisture content of a portion of the field and a computing system communicatively coupled to the sensor. As such, the computing system is configured to determine the soil moisture content of the field based on the data generated by the sensor. Moreover, the computing system is configured to control a flow of electricity at least one of to or from the electrode based on the determined soil moisture content such that an electric field is induced on at least a portion of a surface of the disk blade.
Method of leveling an agricultural implement
An agricultural implement having agricultural implement for supporting a plurality of gangs of disk blades extending generally laterally relative to a for travel direction. The implement has carrier frames pivotally connected to wheel assemblies for controlling the height of the carrier frames relative to the ground through hydraulic actuators acting on the wheel assemblies. A hydraulic control unit enables independent and individual control of each actuator through the use of three way valves that selectively connect or lock individual actuators.

Dynamically adaptive soil conditioning system
Apparatus and associated methods for a coulter disk system relate to a lateral actuator module having a programmably positionable control member that is coupled to a gang of coulter disks and is operable to position a control point of the coulter disks at a predetermined position between two opposing, laterally-spaced end-of-travel positions. In an exemplary embodiment, a gang may be mechanically connected to and laterally positioned by the control point. The predetermined position may be, in some examples, dynamically calculated according to a predetermined function and based on information about conditions of the soil in contact with the coulter disks. Various embodiments may dynamically adjust the position of a gang of coulter disks to dynamically and automatically optimize the conditioning effectiveness of the gang of coulter disks in response to parametric information about the soil conditions.
Tillage implement with enhanced blade gang adjustability
A tillage implement has a main frame provided with ground-engaging wheels that support the main frame at a selected height above the ground. Tillage shanks may be provided on the main frame and, if so, have their depth of penetration into the ground determined by the selected height of the main frame. Gangs of freely rotatable circular blades are carried on the main frame for both fore-and-aft angle adjustment relative to the main frame about respective upright pivot axes and up-and-down depth adjustment relative to the main frame about respective horizontal pivot axes. Such angle and/or depth adjustments can be carried out on-the-go from the tractor seat and without raising or lowering the main frame such that if tillage shanks are provided on the main frame, the working depth of the tillage shanks can remain unchanged as the gangs are adjusted.

Cutting unit having rotatably mounted debris stripping device
A cutting unit for a disc harrow and/or a seed coulter. The cutting unit includes a cutting blade rotatably mounted about a rotation axis, and a stripping device for stripping earth accumulated on the cutting blade, wherein the stripping device has at least one stripping arm rotatably mounted about the rotation axis.

COMPACT TILLAGE IMPLEMENT WITH INDEPENDENT RANK ADJUSTMENT
A compact tillage implement has a frame supported by front and rear frame wheels. A front rank is mounted to the frame between the wheels with respect to a direction of travel to move a front plurality of tools with respect to the frame from a retracted orientation to an extended orientation. A rear rank is mounted to the frame between the wheels with respect to the direction travel to move a rear plurality of tools with respect to the frame from a retracted orientation to an extended orientation. The rear rank is spaced behind the front rank along a reference line. The front and rear plurality of tools are movable with respect to the frame independently of the other of the front and rear plurality of tools while the frame is in working orientation in which the frame is at a substantially fixed pitch with respect to the ground.
