This device for constructing a blood-vessel-shape model in order to perform blood-flow analysis using computational fluid dynamics is provided with: an input unit which inputs a medical image; a shape-model generation unit which constructs, based on the medical image, a blood-vessel-shape model; a shape-model-quality evaluation unit which evaluates the shape reproduction degree of the constructed blood-vessel-shape model to determine the quality of the blood-vessel-shape model; and an output unit which outputs the determination result and the constructed blood-vessel-shape model.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
The present technology relates to an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program capable of facilitating fixed-point observation on skin condition. The information processing device according to an aspect of the present technology acquires an image that shows a predetermined feature point of a user who is a measurer of skin condition, and a measurement portion of skin condition, and analyzes the image, and then recognizes a position of the feature point. Furthermore, information indicating the measurement portion is displayed at a predetermined position on the image while setting, as a reference, the recognized position of the feature point. The present technology is applicable to information processing devices such as a tablet terminal, a smartphone, and a personal computer.
PROCESSING APPARATUS AND PROCESSING METHOD
A processing apparatus, comprises: a first acquirer configured to acquire a first specific information distribution of an object based on acoustic waves propagating from the object onto which light is irradiated; a second acquirer configured to acquire a characteristic value of the first specific information distribution of the object; a third acquirer configured to acquire information indicating a correspondence between an optical coefficient and the characteristic value of the first specific information distribution; and a fourth acquirer configured to acquire the optical coefficient of the object using the characteristic value of the first specific information distribution of the object and the information indicating the correspondence.
3D dentofacial system and method
A reference standard or reference system for dental feature location and orientation can include evaluating the facial appearance of one or more subjects based on aesthetic criteria and selecting a subset of subjects. The reference standard further includes constructing 3D representations, (e.g., a 3D virtual model), of the facial and dental features of the subset of subjects, from photographs of the face and mouth of each subject and determining the location and/or orientation of one or more dental features for each subject. The location and/or orientation values for each subject can be used to produce an average value and a standard deviation that forms the basis for a reference standard as part of reference system for evaluating patients. The method and system further includes constructing 3D representations (e.g., a 3D virtual model) of the facial and dental features of a patient from photographs of the face and mouth of the patient and determining the location and/or orientation of one or more dental features of the patient in order to compare them to the reference standard and develop a treatment plan for the subject based on differences between the patient's measurements and reference standard. The reference standard can use the pupils (e.g., in the natural head position orientation) as a landmark for registration and scaling of the reference standard to the patient under evaluation.
Reality systems
Systems and methods are disclosed method for rendering reality for an object by performing motion tracking and area learning of an environment; selecting a pattern or color from a plurality of product variations; blending the pattern or color of the object and the environment; and displaying the color on the object as an augmented reality view.
IMAGE PROCESSOR, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND ENDOSCOPE SYSTEM
An image processor calculates diagnosis support parameters on the basis of the state of blood vessels of an observation object. The image processor includes an image acquisition unit that acquires an endoscopic image, a blood vessel extraction unit that extracts blood vessels, using the endoscopic image, a blood vessel information calculation unit, and a blood vessel parameter calculation unit. The blood vessel information calculation unit calculates a plurality of items of blood vessel information including at least two or more among the number of pieces, the number of branches, a branch angle, a distance between branch points, the number of intersections, thickness, a change in thickness, the degree of complexity of a change in thickness, length, intervals, depth with a mucous membrane as a reference, and the like. The blood vessel parameter calculation unit calculates blood vessel parameters by calculating using the plurality of items of blood vessel information.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IMAGE-BASED QUANTIFICATION FOR ALLERGEN SKIN REACTION
A method of image-based quantification for allergen skin reaction includes imaging an area of skin that has been subject to a skin-prick test to produce one or more images of the area. The method includes identifying regions of wheal and/or flare in the one or more images of the area and quantifying weal and/or flare indicators based on the regions identified. The method also includes outputting results of the quantified wheal and/or flare indicators indicative of quantified allergen skin reaction.
IMAGE-BASED SIGNAL DETECTION FOR OBJECT METROLOGY
A method of image-based quantification for allergen skin reaction includes imaging an area of skin that has been subject to a skin-prick test to produce one or more images of the area. The method includes identifying regions of wheal and/or flare in the one or more images of the area and quantifying weal and/or flare indicators based on the regions identified. The method also includes outputting results of the quantified wheal and/or flare indicators indicative of quantified allergen skin reaction.
Medical image processing apparatus and medical image processing method
According to one embodiment, a medical image processing apparatus includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry extracts a core line of a tubular structure from three dimensional medical image data. For each section of interest of a plurality of sections of interest, the section of interest crossing the core line, being a tubular cross-section of the tubular structure, and including a portion of interest, the processing circuitry sets a straight line in the section of interest crossing the core line and passing through the portion of interest included in the section of interest as a first cut-off line. Further, the processing circuitry sets a curved plane such that the curved plane passes through a plurality of first cut-off lines being set in the corresponding plurality of sections of interest, and the processing circuitry generates a reconstruction image along the set curved plane.
