Instant set-up bulk container
10889080 · 2021-01-12 · ·

A foldable container moveable between a stowed configuration and a deployed configuration defining an interior area for holding bulk material is provided. The container includes opposed side panels and a bottom flap extending from a bottom edge of each side panel. A tab member extends from a distal end of each bottom flap and a tab finger extends from each tab member so as to define a hook at a distal end of each bottom flap. The hooks are interconnected so as to hingedly connect the distal ends of the bottom flaps together, thereby causing the bottom flaps to rotate between their respective stowed and deployed configuration positions as the end panels are translated between their respective stowed and deployed configuration positions. Locking tabs extending from distal ends of end flaps extend into the interior area of the container to secure the container in the deployed configuration.

Foldable and collapsible storage containers including foldable storage volume partitions
10882656 · 2021-01-05 ·

A foldable and collapsible storage container with a bottom wall, and two pairs of parallel side walls. The bottom wall, first pair of side walls and second pair of side walls define a storage volume. A foldable storage volume partition may include a partition wall that extends between the third side wall and the fourth side wall and supports the third side wall and the fourth side wall in an upright position. The foldable storage partition may include a partition bottom hingedly connected to the partition wall that faces the bottom wall. The third and fourth side walls each may include fold locations that divide the third and fourth side walls into a first part and a second part. The partition may engage the third and fourth side walls to inhibit folding of the third and fourth side walls.

Blank used for making a container with insertable tabs

A blank used for making a container with insertable tabs is disclosed. The blank comprises a primary panel, a secondary panel, and an opening. The secondary panel is hingedly coupled to the primary panel. The secondary panel is hingedly coupled to a secondary flap. The primary panel is hingedly coupled to a primary flap. The primary flap is hingedly coupled to a tab. The tab extends towards the secondary flap. At least a portion of the tab lies within an aperture positioned between the primary flap and the secondary flap. The tab is configured to be inserted in the opening when the container is in a box configuration. Embodiments foster a container with insertable tabs that rapidly, easily, and conveniently transitions to a box configuration. Moreover, the container provides convenience and efficiency without compromising cost effectiveness and structural integrity.

Coextruded foil composite material and its use in card bodies

A composite film material usable in a data carrier card body includes a first outer plastic layer, an inner plastic layer and a second outer plastic layer, all the layers together forming a co-extruded composite. The plastic material of the first outer layer is a polyethylene terephthalate glycol copolymer (PETG) or contains a PETG, the plastic material of the inner layer is a thermoplastic copolyester elastomer (TPC) or contains a TPC, and the plastic material of the second outer layer is a PETG or contains a PETG.

Carton and carton blank

A carton of the gable top style for packaging one or more articles. The carton includes a plurality of panels for forming walls of the carton including: a first side panel; a first end panel having an upper portion and a lower portion; a web panel formed from part of the upper portion and hinged to the first side panel. The carton is convertible from a flat collapsed form into an erected form. In the flat collapsed form, the first side panel is disposed in an overlying or face to face relationship with the first end panel. In the erected form, the first side panel and the first end panel form walls of a tubular structure and define at least in part an interior of the carton for receiving one or more articles.

Auto-erected carton bottom and associated carton blank
10858143 · 2020-12-08 · ·

A carton has an automatically erected bottom that securely closes the bottom of the carton. In one embodiment, the carton blank has two major side panels and two minor side panels serially connected. The carton blank has two bottom flaps which form the bottom of the carton. Each bottom flap is connected to one of the major side panels and one of the minor side panels. The carton blank avoids the erecting and forming issues associated with prior art carton blanks which have an automatically erected bottom.

Container capable of folding and unfolding
10858140 · 2020-12-08 ·

A flat pack container is capable of formation by folding of a flat panel of foldable material to form the container, the flat panel having an inner surface and an outer surface. A first portion of the flat panel is capable of forming a base of the container and has at least one peripheral fold line. Extending from the at least one peripheral fold line is a second portion which co operates with the base to form a wall of the container. The wall of the container includes at least two foldable pleated regions which enable the wall to be set in upright attitude to define with the base an internal space: the second portion further including flaps which retains the container in its folded configuration.

Collapsible Container Carrier
20200377275 · 2020-12-03 ·

A basket-type carrier formed from a single blank (1) of foldable sheet material. The carrier (4) comprises a pair of handle panels (10, 60), a pair of bottom panels (20, 70), a pair of bottom reinforcement panels (15, 65), a front panel (30), a back panel (80), side panels (31, 32, 33, 34, 81, 82, 83, 84), side reinforcement panels (21, 22, 71, 72), side flaps (35, 36, 85, 86), interior partition panels (37, 38, 87, 88), and interior partition attachment flaps (39, 89). The carrier is collapsed and expanded by means of an umbrella-type mechanism wherein side flaps (35, 36, 85, 86) connected to side panels (32, 34, 82, 84) and to interior partition panels (37, 87) slide up and down between the handle panels (10, 60). This positions front, back, side, and bottom panels in either the collapsed position with these panels folded against the handle panels, flattening the carrier for storage, or in the expanded position with these panels pulled away from the handle panels, expanding the carrier to receive articles.
