Portable simultaneous tooth polishing and bleaching device using single-rod-swinging mechanism
A portable tooth polishing and bleaching treatment device is provided for simultaneous tooth surface polishing and bleaching for use at home or in dental clinics. A single-rod-swinging mechanism, either using tilt-rod-driving or bent-rod-driving, is employed to transfer a continuously rotational input from an electric power into a back-and-forth swinging movement output. The device comprises a battery-powered handpiece with a detachable swinging angle, a dual-functional rubber cup, a user-specific thermoplastic gum protector, a dual-agent mixing set consisting of a separated storage of polishing and bleaching agents and an agent mixing tool. The swinging angle alone is used as a prophylaxis angle for dental clinics.
ELECTRIC DENTAL HANDPIECE AND WEARABLE CONTROLLER
A wearable controller for a dental handpiece system and a dental handpiece system are disclosed. The wearable controller includes a wearable body. The wearable body includes an input and a display, the input and the display for displaying a graphical user interface (GUI) to an operator providing a plurality of operating selections. A battery is electrically connected to the input and the display for powering the input and the display. A reservoir is secured to the wearable body. An output is electrically connected to the input and the display for receiving an indication of an alert.
Predictive maintenance system and method for 1-wire handpiece
A predictive maintenance system and method for a dental handpiece includes a condition sensor for sensing a condition of the handpiece to obtain sensor data and providing wired communication of the sensor data and a device identifier from the handpiece to a delivery unit. The system is configured to store sensor data, a device identifier and a time stamp in data logging equipment to obtain a usage history for the handpiece. The system determines a maintenance condition of the handpiece based on the sensor data and/or the usage history of the handpiece. In response to a severity of the maintenance condition, the system provides a preventative maintenance indication of a future failure for the handpiece or stops operation of the handpiece.
Integrated Dental Care System
An integrated dental care system is provided. The integrated dental care system comprises a dental recliner chair. The dental recliner chair includes a folding frame. The folding frame includes a U-shaped rear leg frame pivotally coupled to a U-shaped front leg frame. The dental recliner chair also includes two side arms. The dental recliner chair also includes a chair frame. The integrated dental care system also includes a dental treatment unit. The dental treatment unit includes a central body. The dental treatment unit also includes of an integrated compressor and suction unit. The dental treatment unit also includes a plurality of tubes. The dental treatment unit also includes a detachable tool box. The detachable tool box is configured to store a plurality of equipment. The dental treatment unit also includes an adjustable handle and a plurality of wheels. Present disclosure provides a low cost, dependable and portable dental clinic.
UNITARY CORDLESS DENTAL DRIVE APPARATUS
The invention provides a unitary cordless dental drive apparatus in a first embodiment having a handpiece with a cantilever arm 18 extending outward and positioned to allow a dental nose cone 26 to be connected. An activating switch 20 is located at the free end of the cantilever arm 18 in a position that is convenient for manipulation by a user. In a second embodiment, a contactor 22 is mounted below the cantilever arm 18 to contact the nose cone 26 when pressed. In a third embodiment, a standard dental office foot pedal 90 is connected to a wireless transmitter 80 for sending a signal to a receiver 92 located within the handpiece 70 for activating the handpiece 70.

Dental treatment apparatus
A dental treatment apparatus includes: a handpiece including a head that holds a cutting tool; a drive unit capable of performing forward rotation driving for rotating the cutting tool held at the head in a cutting direction, and reverse rotation driving for rotating the cutting tool held at the head in a non-cutting direction; an operation receiving unit that receives an operation of an operator; and a controller that controls the drive unit that drives the cutting tool, according to the operation received by the operation receiving unit. Only when a prescribed condition is satisfied, the controller sets the operation received by the operation receiving unit as an operation to drive the cutting tool by reverse rotation driving, or as an operation to drive the cutting tool by twist driving by which the forward rotation driving and the reverse rotation driving are alternately performed.
