Aspects hereof relate to apparatuses for moving materials and objects, such as furniture, spas, hot tubs, and the like. The apparatuses described herein may include configurable stabilizing elements that are adaptable to a surface or shape of the item being moved in order stabilize and secure the object during transport.

Disclosed herein is a movable platform (MP) for moving freight during cross-dock operations. The MP comprises a mechanical lift brake assembly that can be utilized to deploy a plurality of mechanical lift brakes preventing further movement of the MP. AMP forklift attachment that can be used to convey the MP and to engage or disengage the mechanical lift brake assembly. The MP forklift attachment can be attached to a conveyance vehicle, such as a forklift, or built into an automated guided vehicle.

The present disclosure provides an accessory for dunnage used with, for example, bundles of lumber, to reduce the friction between the dunnage and the ground for easier transport and protection of the dunnage and banding during transport. The accessory for dunnage of the present disclosure may comprise a base and a pair of arms extending the base. A receptacle may be defined on three sides by the base and pair of arms. The receptacle may be configured to receive a portion of dunnage. The pair of arms may include hooks configured to retain the portion of dunnage within the receptacle. The accessory may be made of a resilient material, in order to widen to receive the portion of dunnage, and pinch to retain said portion within the receptacle.

A pallet adapter, system and method for restraining air cargo during flight is disclosed. A pallet adapter shifts a shipping container in an inboard direction of an aircraft so that the container does not contact an interior structure of the aircraft. Rigid restraints restrain the container from moving in the vertical direction during flight. Corner fittings restrain the container from moving in the fore-and-aft direction and the side-to-side direction during flight.

The A transfer tray includes a fixed tray; a movable tray which can move relative to the fixed tray; several anti-shake actuators disposed on the fixed tray; a shake detection device disposed on the movable tray or the fixed tray; and a control device. A pallet stacking board comprising a laminate structure is provided in which a non-woven polypropylene geotextile fabric material is used to create a suitably shaped bag in which a rigid or semi-rigid polyurethane material is injected, and allowed to react and cure. The upper and lower exterior surfaces of the pallet stacking board are coated with a non-slip material which is preferably provided by a polyurethane coating material so as to provide a textured finish. The sheets have an imprint or an embossing that provides a raised planar surface. To make the sheet, a die can be etched to have protuberances or bumps, and the die is preferably pressed into a sheet of pliable thermoplastic material. A foldably constructed force-resisting structure or support is provided. The foldably constructed structure may include a first member and a second member. The first member may include a support panel and a plurality of peripherally spaced first support foldably connected to the support panel. The second member may include a base panel and a plurality of peripherally spaced second support foldably connected to the base panel. Each of the plurality of first supports may include a tab.
