A magazine for holding a plurality of workpieces in a workpiece machining process having a flat tray which includes a first pair of mounting rails running along a first direction and a second pair of mounting rails running along a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The magazine has a plurality of first bounding elements positionally displaceable and fastened to the mounting rails of the first pair with their longitudinal direction running in the second direction and a plurality of second bounding elements positionally and fastened to the mounting rails of the second pair in their longitudinal direction running in first direction. The mounting rails of the first and second pairs and the first and second bounding elements coordinate with one another such that regardless of arrangement and positioning first and second bounding elements are arranged on and fastened to one of first or second pairs of mounting rails.

A pallet adapter, system and method for restraining air cargo during flight is disclosed. A pallet adapter shifts a shipping container in an inboard direction of an aircraft so that the container does not contact an interior structure of the aircraft. Rigid restraints restrain the container from moving in the vertical direction during flight. Corner fittings restrain the container from moving in the fore-and-aft direction and the side-to-side direction during flight.

A pallet includes: an upper plate on which a load is to be placed; a lower frame disposed so as to face the upper plate; at least three force sensors disposed on a lower surface of the upper plate or an upper surface of the lower frame; at least three raising and lowering mechanisms that are disposed between the upper plate and the lower frame via the at least three force sensors and that are able to raise and lower the upper plate with respect to the lower frame; and a controller configured to perform control to drive the at least three raising and lowering mechanisms on the basis of output signals from the at least three force sensors.

A work platform for a drawer storage module is disclosed. The module includes one or more slidable drawers and a locking bar having a locking opening and which may be pivoted between a vertical position covering the drawers and securing them within the module and a horizontal position clear of the drawers so that they can be opened. The work platform has a work surface and a peripheral rim extending downwardly from the work surface. A through hole is formed on the peripheral rim. The work platform may be disposed on an upper surface of the module with the locking opening adjacent the through hole. The work platform may also be disposed on storage containers forming part of a stackable system including quarter-sized containers, half-sized containers and full-sized containers in alternative combinations thereof.
