Simplified stacked pallet and method of making the same
The inventors have discovered that certain hot melt adhesives can be used to form a stable stacked pallet that can limit the need for additional packaging materials e.g. inter-layer and pallet wrap.
Selectively height adjustable shipping pallet
A selectively height adjustable pallet including a first member having a first outer surface and a first inner surface, a second member having a second outer surface and a second inner surface, and a plurality of selectively adjustable supports arranged between the first member and the second member. The selectively adjustable supports being operable to establish a first distance between the first inner surface and the second inner surface in a first configuration and a second distance, distinct from the first distance between the first inner surface and the second inner surface in a second configuration. At least one cross member is selectively arranged between the first inner surface and the second inner surface when the plurality of adjustable supports are in one of the first configuration and the second configuration.
Thermally insulated containers
A thermal conditioning wall panel (10) for use in a thermally insulating container comprises a panel body (22) having a channel (26) formed therein along one face thereof for receiving one or more thermal conditioning elements (12). At least one foot (32) is formed at the lower end of the body (22) for engagement within a socket provided on the thermally insulating container. The panel further comprises thermal conditioning element retaining elements (40) provided adjacent the longitudinal edges (29) of the channel (26), the retaining elements (40) projecting over a peripheral portion of the channel (26) for retaining the thermal conditioning elements (12) within the channel (26).
DEVICE FOR TRANSPORTING WASTE OR RECYCLABLE MATERIAL
The present disclosure describes a computer-implemented method for determining and reporting compliance with rules regarding discarded material from an originating site. The method may include obtaining, for each batch of a plurality of batches of discarded material, identification information of a respective originating site, capturing image data for each batch and associating the identification and image data. The identification and image data may be sent to a server having rules regarding the discarded material. The server may then determine data regarding compliance and generate a report including data regarding compliance with the rules regarding the discarded material for each originating site.
System for tracking waste or recyclable material
Systems, methods and devices are provided for tracking and managing waste or recyclable materials, which may include one or more devices enabled to capture and record information about waste material at a point in a distribution chain, as well as information technology systems for collecting, processing, analyzing and otherwise managing information about a large number and variety of streams of waste material.
Offset flange and angled shim flowline fittings
Flowline components are assembled into high-pressure fluid transportation systems by a flange union. The flowline component comprises a body defining a substantially cylindrical central conduit. The conduit extends between first and second flat union faces and is adapted to conduct fluids through the body. The union faces are adapted to provide a mating surface for a flange union between the component and another flowline component. Accordingly, the union faces have a plurality of holes adapted to accommodate threaded connectors for forming the flange union. The holes are arranged in a defined array extending angularly around the conduit. Importantly, the array of holes on the first union face and the array of holes on the second union face are offset angularly relative to each other by an angle . It will be appreciated that such components may allow changes in the direction of a flow line.
PLASTIC CONTAINERS AND PACKAGING THEREOF
Plastic containers and arrangements of reduced diameter plastic containers, including PET containers, are disclosed. In an embodiment, a plastic container arrangement is provided that includes a plurality of reduced diameter plastic (e.g., PET) containers arranged in a side-by-side configuration, wherein the ratio of a maximum outside diameter to container height is at least 0.30.
Method of forming a transportation system with an over-molded friction element
The invention is directed to an overmolded two-component friction element in a plastic pallet and to a method for forming the pallet. The friction element includes a rigid outer carrier member and an elastomeric material that is exposed at one or more ends. The friction element is first formed in an injection mold, and then is placed in a pallet mold. Resin is injected into the pallet mold around the sides of the friction element leaving the exposed elastomeric material form part of the pallet surface.
Placement of tracking devices on pallets
Various approaches for attaching tracking devices to pallets allow pallets to be remotely tracked through any phase of a transportation lifecycle. In a first approach, one or more electronic components of a tracking device may be disposed within a cavity of a block of a pallet. In a second approach, one or more electronic components of a tracking device may be disposed within a strut that interfaces between two beams of a pallet. In a third approach, one or more electronic components of a tracking device may be disposed within a cavity of a beam.
