In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful to monitor the status of products loaded on or in a pallet, container, or other transport or storage structure and/or provide handling instructions. In some embodiments, one or more sensors detect one or more characteristics such as location, mass, temperature, or humidity, and a display device mounted to the transport or storage structure indicates whether detected values from the sensors are within acceptable ranges.

Embodiments of devices, assemblies, and related methods for transporting glass panels, such as doors, are disclosed. One embodiment of a rack assembly includes a support rack and a first support wedge positioned at the support rack. The first support wedge includes a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The first support wedge further includes a first surface extending between the first end and the second end as well as a second surface extending between the first end and the second end opposite the first surface. The second surface defines a plurality of support platform pairs. Each support platform pair includes a first platform at a first elevation relative to the first surface and a second platform at a second elevation relative to the first surface. The second elevation is different than the first elevation.

Support wedge and related assemblies

Embodiments of devices, assemblies, and related methods for transporting glass panels, such as doors, are disclosed. One embodiment of a rack assembly includes a support rack and a first support wedge positioned at the support rack. The first support wedge includes a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The first support wedge further includes a first surface extending between the first end and the second end as well as a second surface extending between the first end and the second end opposite the first surface. Intermediate bulk container and valve opening/closing device therefor

The present invention discloses an intermediate bulk container (IBC) and a valve opening/closing device therefor. The container comprises a base, side plates, and a valve installed at the bottom of the container. The valve opening/closing device comprises a handle, a motion-transferring device and a valve opening/closing mechanism. The handle is installed at the side plate and is connected with the motion-transferring device. The motion-transferring device is at least partially located in the cavity between two sidewalls of the side plate of the container or at least partially located in the groove provided on the side plate, and is used to transfer the actions acting on the handle to the valve opening/closing mechanism to open/close the valve. According to the valve opening/closing device of the present invention, the operating handle is provided at an appropriate position of the side plate of the container, and the motion-transferring device is located between two sidewalls of the side plate or located in the groove provided on the side plate, thereby avoiding bending over or squatting on the ground while opening/closing. Further, the overall volume ratio will not be affected, and the folding level will not be increased when the folding the intermediate bulk container.

A method for packaging articles to be transported is provided comprising a) preparing at least one pallet comprising a base plate, which base plate forms an even plate-shaped element; b) placing the articles to be transported onto the base plate; c) providing a transport box that's open toward the base plate in an inverted orientation over the articles, wherein the transport box is placed on the base plate so that the transport box and base plate together form an interior of the transport packaging unit, wherein the transport box comprises an opening that's closable by folding flaps on a side opposite the base plate, wherein the transport box closes off flush with the pallet; and d) fixing the transport box on the base plate with at least one packing strip, wherein the transport box is pressed onto the base plate by said at least one packing strip.

A complementary paper tube adapted to fill a remaining space on a cargo pallet includes sidewall portions, a straight auxiliary tearing line and circular auxiliary tearing lines. The side wall portions are disposed adjacently to each other. The straight auxiliary tearing line surrounds the sidewall portions. The circular auxiliary tearing lines are disposed on the sidewall portions and respectively connected to the straight auxiliary tearing line. A portion of the area surrounded by the circular auxiliary lines is adapted to be torn away, so as to form circular openings. The complementary paper tube is adapted to be torn into an upper tube and a lower tube. In addition, a flat plate adapted to form the complementary paper tube is also mentioned.

Transport packaging for packaging hazardous materials

Disclosed is a transport packaging unit for packaging articles to be transported, in particular hazardous materials. The transport packaging unit comprises the following: a pallet with a base plate, wherein the articles to be transported are receivable on the base plate; a transport box which is open toward the base plate, wherein the transport box rests on the base plate and together with the base plate forms an interior of the transport packaging unit which receives the articles to be transported,
wherein the transport box is fixed on the base plate by means of at least one fastening element, preferably by means of at least one packing strip.
