Snapon Adjustable Implant Surgical Drill Stop and Surgical Guide
A snap-on snap-off drill stop device for boring into a tooth and or in bone. The stop device that impedes insertion of the bore device into the tooth or bone tissue beyond predetermined depths at pre-selected stages of a drilling process by simplifying the tedious process of exchanging drill bits and drill stops for the ultimate size and depth bore.
Tooth cleaning device having internal fluid conduit formed therein
A tooth cleaning device having an internal fluid conduit formed therein, and the tooth cleaning device includes: a main body which has a tube provided in the main body and selectively connectable with a drive unit; and a cleaning body which is assembled to one side of the main body, and has the internal fluid conduit formed in the cleaning body and connectable with the tube, in which at least one nozzle is formed to be opened at one end of the internal fluid conduit. Further, when the main body and the cleaning body are assembled, one end of the tube is connected to one end of the internal fluid conduit so as to form a single continuous flow path, and through the single continuous flow path, a cleaning solution may be discharged or a fluid is sucked and then discharged to the outside.
NOZZLE FOR POWDER DELIVERY WITH A PERSONAL CARE APPLIANCE AND METHOD
A powder delivery nozzle (12) for a personal care appliance (10) comprises a body (28), guidance tip (38), powder chamber (50), and flexible membrane (56). The body (28) includes an air-liquid channel (30) for delivery of air and/or liquid from a proximal end to a distal end thereof. The guidance tip (38), located at the distal end of the body (28), includes an orifice (40) coupled to the air-liquid channel (30) and is configured to expel a pulse of air and/or liquid. The powder chamber (50) is configured for storing a powder (52) and having an air intake port (42) and a powder outlet port (44). The flexible membrane (56) is disposed between the powder chamber (50) and the air-liquid channel (30). Responsive to delivery of a pulse of air and/or liquid via the air-liquid channel (30), a pulse of pressure is applied to the flexible membrane (56) for actuating a release of powder expelled from the powder chamber (50) via the powder outlet port (44). A method and personal care appliance are also disclosed.
DENTAL IMPLANT IRRIGATION
An irrigation guide for providing irrigation to the site of an osteotomy procedure. The irrigation guide includes an insertion end for insertion into an irrigation passage provided in a surgical template for guiding an osteotomy drill. The irrigation passage communicates with a guide chamber defined by the surgical template and surrounding the osteotomy site. The irrigation guide also includes a coupling end configured for connection with a source of irrigation fluid. The insertion end and the coupling end may be angled relative to one another. The insertion end of the irrigation guide may be inserted into and secured to the irrigation passage such that the irrigation guide provides a fluid communication pathway between the source of irrigation fluid and the guide chamber. The irrigation guide may be included in kits that include the surgical template and/or a drill bit configured to form the irrigation passage in the surgical template.
A TUBE SECTION, A PINCH VALVE AND A POWDER GAS JET DEVICE
A tube section for a pinch valve, includes an inner tube element for transporting a medium, the inner tube being transferrable between an open state, in which the medium can flow through the inner tube element, and a closed state, in which the medium is hindered to flow through the inner tube element, and an outer tube element, surrounding the inner tube element, for creating a collecting region between the inner tube and the outer tube to collect the medium in case of a leakage of the inner tube, wherein the inner tube element and the outer tube element are configured for transferring the inner tube element between an open state and a closed state, in particular in dependency of a force acting on the outer tube element.
LASER CONTROL GUI SYSTEM AND METHOD
Some embodiments include a dental laser system with a controller coupled to an electromagnetic energy source, where the controller's graphical user interface enables a user to provide input to control operating parameters of the electromagnetic energy source. In some embodiments, the graphical user interface can render a controller enabling user control of a plurality dental laser system parameters with a single action or input. In some embodiments, the user's interaction with a graphical portion of the controller sufficient to control more than one operational parameter of the dental laser system without a requirement for the user to provide an additional or substantially simultaneous interaction with any other controller or portion of the graphical user interface. Further, the graphical content has a graphic indicative of a mode, an operational status, and/or an operational parameter of the dental laser system that is displayed, updated, or animated by the controller.
ORTHODONTIC SYSTEM WITH TOOTH MOVEMENT AND POSITION MEASURING, MONITORING, AND CONTROL
An orthodontic system and method for aligning at least one tooth of an upper jaw or a lower jaw of a patient. In the system and method at least one orthodontic appliance can be provided which may include at least one force exerting member for applying a force to move the at least one tooth, a tooth movement sensor for obtaining tooth movement data, and a tooth movement monitor for calculating at least one of the distance the at least one tooth has moved and a current position of the at least one tooth from the tooth movement data. An electronic control console may be operatively connected to the force exerting member and in data communication with the tooth movement monitor, for controlling the operation of the force exerting member using the at least one of the distance the at least one tooth has moved and the current position of the at least one tooth.

DENTAL DRILL TOOL
A system and method for mitigating pain associated with dentistry provides a removal apparatus for removing a portion of a tooth. A desiccation apparatus flows a desiccated gas to the portion of the tooth to desiccate dentinal tubules in a region surrounding the portion of the tooth, generally preventing nerve cells within the tooth from transmitting pain signals associated with the removal. The removal apparatus has a drill head with a body having an axial opening configured to accept a dental burr. An annular passage exists between the dental burr and the body within the axial opening. A chamber in the body is in fluid communication with the axial opening, where a channel is fluidly coupled to an external port and to a source of the desiccated gas to flow the desiccated gas therethrough and expose a drilling region of the dental burr to the desiccated gas to mitigate pain.
