The handle includes a seal positioned around the first fitting and between the first fitting inlet and the first fitting outlet. A second fitting includes a second fitting inlet in fluid communication with the first fitting outlet and a second fitting outlet in fluid communication with the second fitting inlet. A bottom portion of the second fitting seats on a portion of the first fitting so that the seal engages an interior surface of the second fitting, a flow passage is coupled to the second fitting and in fluid communication with the second fitting outlet.
Dental flow control adjuster with operation indicator
A dental delivery system can comprise a first fluid conduit for supplying fluid via the delivery system to a handpiece connected to a distal end of the conduit, a plurality of flow control adjusters positioned on the delivery system at a location remote from the at least one fluid conduit, and an indicator circuit comprising a plurality of sensors and a plurality of indicators corresponding to the plurality of flow control adjusters. A first flow control adjuster of the plurality of flow control adjusters can be operable to change a fluid flow rate in the first fluid conduit. A first sensor of the plurality of sensors can be operable to trigger a first indicator of the plurality of indicators in response to predetermined motion of the first fluid conduit to indicate that the first flow control adjuster is associated with the first fluid conduit.
DETECTION TOOL AND DETECTION METHOD
Provided is a detection tool that detects a temperature of air. The detection tool includes a detection section that detects a temperature of air released from an air turbine handpiece, and a main body that includes a surface. The detection section is provided on the surface to allow the air turbine handpiece to be brought close to the detection section
ROOT CANAL TREATMENT ROBOT AND TREATMENT METHOD
A root canal treatment robot and a treatment method using the same. In the robot, a pan tilt, and a working optical fiber are driven by an x-axis movement unit and a y-axis movement unit to move on the x-y plane, and the working optical fiber is further driven by a z-axis movement unit to move along the z-axis, and driven by an a-axis movement unit to rotate around the z-axis.
Laser control GUI system and method
Some embodiments include a dental laser system with a controller coupled to an electromagnetic energy source, where the controller's graphical user interface enables a user to provide input to control operating parameters of the electromagnetic energy source. In some embodiments, the graphical user interface can render a controller enabling user control of a plurality dental laser system parameters with a single action or input. In some embodiments, the user's interaction with a graphical portion of the controller sufficient to control more than one operational parameter of the dental laser system without a requirement for the user to provide an additional or substantially simultaneous interaction with any other controller or portion of the graphical user interface. Further, the graphical content has a graphic indicative of a mode, an operational status, and/or an operational parameter of the dental laser system that is displayed, updated, or animated by the controller.
System and methods for preventative dental hard tissue treatment with a laser
This disclosure relates to various systems and methods related to preventative laser-based treatment of a dental tissue; for example, to prevent a patient from forming cavities. In some instances, a laser-based treatment system can generate a laser beam pulse with a fluence profile at a treatment site that results in either an increase in acid resistance of the tissue or removal of carbonate from the tissue, without melting or ablating the tissue. In some instances, the laser-based treatment system can direct the laser beam to various locations within a treatment site according to a temporal and/or spatial pattern, that results in either an increase in acid resistance of the tissue or removal of carbonate from the tissue, without melting or ablating the tissue. Many other systems and techniques for preventative and other laser-based treatment are also described.
Water treatment dispensing apparatus
A water treatment dispensing apparatus has a container for holding water from a water supply and a water disinfectant cartridge located within the container. A housing attached to the container and connected to the cartridge directs water from the cartridge to a remote location, such as a dental instrument. An air pressure device supplies water under pressure to the container to force water to flow through the cartridge and to the remote location.
AIR VENT ASSEMBLY FOR A PUMP
The present disclosure is directed to an air vent assembly (100), including an air vent assembly for a pump of an oral irrigator. The air vent assembly comprises a first internal chamber (144) in fluid communication with the input port (104) and the outlet port (106) and arranged to receive a fluid or a gas. The first internal chamber comprises: a first inner surface (168) having a first inner surface portion (170) and a second inner surface portion (172); a first valve (134) comprising an expandable element (178), the first valve arranged to transition from an open state to a closed state; and an exit channel (146) in fluid communication with the first internal chamber, and arranged between the second inner surface portion of the first inner surface and the outlet port. In the closed state, the first valve is arranged to contact the first exit aperture and impede a flow of the fluid or gas into the exit channel.
HEAD ASSEMBLY FOR DENTAL CONTRA-ANGLE HAND-PIECE AND DENTAL CONTRA-ANGLE HAND-PIECE
A head assembly for a dental contra-angle hand-piece and a dental contra-angle hand-piece are provided. The head assembly includes a hand-piece main body, a reversing valve movably connected to the hand-piece main body, and an inner water tube connected to the hand-piece main body, wherein the hand-piece main body is provided with a first flow channel and a second flow channel independent from each other, the first flow channel is configured to be in communication with a liquid outlet of a motor, and the second flow channel is configured to be in communication with an external pipeline; the reversing valve is provided with a confluence channel, the reversing valve is configured to enable, when moving relative to the hand-piece main body, the first flow channel and the second flow channel to alternatively be in communication with the inner water pipe through the confluence channel.
Method and device for treatment of peri-implantitis
An ultrasonic tip, attachable to an ultrasonic handheld instrument for vibrational energy, and method for treating peri-implantitis by removing a thin layer of the surface of the contaminated metal implant base that is exposed from the loss of osseo-integration due to bacteriological biofilms. The ultrasonic tip includes a narrow wire shaft body having at its distal end a concave abrasive diamond-coated tapered grinder plate with a front grinding surface, tapered in thickness from top to bottom, that can be manually pressed against an exposed implant base vertical cylindrical diseased surface while the grinder plate is vibrated ultrasonically to remove a thin layer of the titanium alloy metal implant base. The ultrasonic tip narrow wire shaft body has three bends to avoid the crown when manually positioning the grinding surface of the grinder plate to ensure manipulation the grinding surface by the periodontist. A detoxicant liquid is introduced during cleaning to enhance removal of diseased material by vibration of the liquid to penetrate microstructural surface areas of the implant base.
