VESSEL FOR USE IN MULTIPLE POSITIONS AND METHODS OF USE
20250001797 · 2025-01-02 ·

An inkwell apparatus comprises an inkwell vessel and a cap for covering a vessel opening in an apparatus storage position. The cap has a protruding tip upon which to support the inkwell in an apparatus spinning position or a pooling position. A bottom (e.g. support surface) of the inkwell forms at least one of: i) a central region providing a tip engaging surface dimensioned to receive the tip in the spinning position; or ii) at least one tip engaging latch surface, each tip engaging latch surface dimensioned to receive the tip in the pooling position. Methods of use relate to the spinning position and the pooling position. The cap can comprise a seal ring to seal the opening or to provide support assistance in the spinning or pooling position(s). Ribs in the inkwell can provide deflection of ink when stirred such as by spinning.

Dual condiment simultaneous dispenser

A bottle split into two parts internally, is disclosed. Each side of the bottle has a different viscous fluid. Turning a rotatable switch on the exterior turns a corkscrew within the bottle, causing a plunger to move transverse to the direction of rotation due to its threaded engagement with the corkscrew. This, in turn, causes the two viscous fluids to exit out of an exit portal side by side simultaneously.

A vent for attachment to the hollow handle of a container is provided to prevent glugging and splashing of the fluid during pouring. The present vent enables the venting of air into the container as the fluid within the container is poured out. The present vent is angled to prevent attachment and flow of liquids on its outer surface during pouring, and to prevent outflow of liquids through the vent. The vent includes a venting conduit or other tube bent in at least one section and a hollow handle engager, such as an elastomeric stopper, to engage the inner passage of the hollow handle.

An assembly and method are provided for storing and dispensing a soluble substance, such as a flavoring, into a liquid. A useful application of the subject invention includes the case where lime-flavored liquid is contained in a foam artificial lime stored in the neck of a beer bottle, attached to a beer bottle or can, or attached to the 6-pack or 12-pack carton. The artificial lime may be retrieved from the neck or a protective covering and acted upon so it diffuses the lime-flavored liquid into the beer when it is inserted into the beer bottle. Alternately, juice from the artificial lime may be squeezed into the beer, or the artificial lime may be simply retrieved and discarded. Rather than needing to buy a natural lime, cut it up and push a wedge into a beer bottle, an artificial lime, or a packaged natural lime, may be stored directly in or with the beer bottle and placed in functional contact with the beer at time of consumption.
