Wine bottle with cork retainer and re-use features
A wine bottle is provided with a punt at a lower end which includes a cork retainer therein. A cork can thus be stored within the cork retainer. In one embodiment, the cork retainer includes two retainer surfaces which are opposing each other horizontally, and spaced apart by a length similar to opposing portions of the cork to allow the cork to fit tightly between these retainer surfaces. Space above the retainer surfaces can hold a foil wrap with the cork within the cork retainer and holding the foil wrap in place. Full re-use of the bottle is thus facilitated. In one embodiment, the bottle has an octagonal shape so that multiple bottles can be shipped together and placed adjacent each other with flat surfaces distributing loads therebetween, without forces concentrated at points thereof, and to keep the bottles in good shape for washing, refilling and re-use.
CLOSING CAP FOR CLOSING A CONTAINER
A closing cap for closing a container comprises a cylindrical threaded part having an open edge and an internal screw thread, which can interact with an external screw thread of the container neck. A tamper-proof strip is configured to be retained on an annular protrusion formed on the container neck. A retaining strip has a first and a second end and a first and a second edge. The first end is fixedly connected to the open edge of the threaded part, and the second end is fixedly connected to the tamper-proof strip. The first edge is detachably connected to the open edge of the threaded part by a predetermined breaking element, and the second edge is detachably connected to the tamper-proof strip by a second predetermined breaking element. The first predetermined breaking element and the second predetermined breaking element have different tensile strengths or tear strengths.

CONTAINER
A container that includes a container body adapted for containing a flowable material for storage and dispensing through a dispensing opening in the container body. A funnel is positioned in a stowage location in the container body and is adapted to be removed from the stowage location and moved to a flowable material-receiving location physically-separate from and proximate to the dispensing opening in the container body. A wiping sheet is positioned with the funnel in the stowage location and adapted to be removed from the stowage location and used to wipe and absorb the flowable material.
METHOD FOR EMPLOYING CONTAINERS WITH REMOVABLE SAMPLE COMPARTMENTS
The present invention is a method featuring containers for consumable products which have removable sample compartments to facilitate reuse, product returns post-trial, and product resale. The sample compartments are filled with the same product as the main compartment so that consumers may sample the product without damaging a tamper-proof seal on the main compartment. The used sample container may be refilled or replaced with a new sample container. Use of these containers may reduce waste by preserving the product in the main container in a sealed condition. Use of these containers may also minimize the return expense of products sold online by giving the consumer a chance to try the product and return the main container if they are unsatisfied, ultimately reducing the overall the cost per product and reducing the waste of both product and container or container materials.
Measuring device assembly
A measuring device assembly having a container and measuring receptacle. The container includes a self-supporting base structure with a plurality of projections extending downward therefrom, wherein each projection of the plurality of projections includes a fastener receiving groove extending inward thereof. The measuring receptacle includes a receptacle base, a side wall extending from an upper surface of the receptacle base, and a fastener extending inward and secured in the fastener receiving groove.

Dual spout pill storage and swallowing assist bottle device
The dual spout pill storage and swallowing assist bottle device disclosed herein is intended to be carried by a user and provide a mobile source of fluids, as in the case of a fluid bottle. The device provides two distinct drinking spouts and is configured to allow a user to both drink from the bottle as normal and drink from the bottle in a way to assist the user with swallowing pills. To perform these dual functions the dual spout pill storage and swallowing assist bottle device comprises a standard drinking spout and a pill straw with a reversibly deployable spout incorporated into the lid of the device. By this design the device may be used to drink fluids without hindrance as desired, and to also facilitate a straw-assisted vacuum swallowing of a pill when needed. The device may further comprise a storage compartment for carrying pills and other items, and may further comprise a pill retaining insert for the standard spout.
