PORTABLE BUOYANT PLATFORM
Disclosed is a portable platform with a plurality of panels configured to have a folded state and an extended state, wherein the platform is buoyant in water. The platform is configured to provide a substantially horizontal surface above a water surface when in the extended state and placed in a body of water. A first one of the plurality of panels is a support panel that may include a heat resistant support plate on which a barbecue or stove may be placed and/or secured. A second one of the plurality of panels has an aperture configured such that the barbecue fits through the aperture when the platform is in the folded state. A third one of the plurality of panels that is a cover panel that enables the platform to enclose the barbecue when in the folded state. The cover panel may have a heat resistant protective plate and the protective plate on the cover panel may have a recess to accommodate the barbecue when the platform is in the folded state.
Rainwater collection and distribution system
A rainwater collection and distribution system embodying a rain collector apparatus for collecting rainwater in an easy to transport tank is provided, wherein the apparatus is adapted to direct excessive rainwater as well as relocate and distribute rainwater stored in the tank. The rain collector may form an internal cavity for receiving rainwater. A recessed operative surface along an upper portion of the rain collector may form a plurality of apertures for receiving and communicating the rainwater into the internal cavity. The operative surface may be sloped so that rainwater in excess of the capacity of the internal cavity is directed along the slope to a predetermined location. The rain collector may form a handle and a pour spout, whereby a user may transport the rainwater stored in the internal cavity and pour stored rainwater through the pour spout for a desired reuse activity.
Container and Method of Forming a Container
An insulating container can be configured to retain a volume of liquid, and include a first inner wall having a first end having an opening extending into an internal reservoir, and a second outer wall forming an outer shell. The second outer wall can include a second end configured to support the container on a surface. The second outer wall can include a dimple, and the dimple can include a circular base and an inner portion converging to an hole extending into the second outer wall. The hole can be sealed by a resin, and the circular base can be covered by disc formed of the material. Alternatively, a cap can cover the dimple, and a weld can connect the cap to the second outer wall. The container can also include a sealed vacuum cavity forming an insulated double-wall structure between the first inner wall and the second outer wall.
Insulated shipping container
An insulated container for storing or shipping bottles includes a body and a lid. The body has a shell and an insert portion formed from an insulating material. The lid also has a shell and an insert portion formed from the insulating which meets the insert portion of the body to form cavities. The cavities include a temperature control pack cavity and four or more separate bottle storage cavities distributed around the temperature control pack cavity. Each of the bottle storage cavities is configured for receiving a bottle from among three or more different bottle types. Each of the bottle types has a different shape and/or size than each of the other bottle types. Each of the bottle storage cavities includes at least three bottle stop features on one or more internal surfaces. Each bottle stop feature is associated with a different one of the three or more bottle types.
