Portable and trackable security box and method for delivering and tracking security box
A shipping box system and method are provided in which a shipping box has a container having a bottom surface and a plurality of walls, the container walls forming a perimeter about a container cavity. The shipping box further has a lid having a top surface and walls, the lid walls forming a perimeter about a lid cavity. The box further provides a sensor module for determining a physical location and orientation of the container, a computations module for evaluating data retrieved from the sensor module, and a locking assembly for locking the container and the lid in a closed configuration. The container and the lid are sized to nest, such that when the lid is fixed to the container, the container cavity and the lid cavity occupy substantially the same space and the container walls and the lid walls overlap.
Method for printing a cylindrical printing surface of a beverage can, and printed beverage can
The invention relates to a method for printing a cylindrical printing surface of a beverage can with a printing image, and to a beverage can. The method comprises a first and a second printing operation, in the first printing operation, a first section of the printing surface being printed by way of a first printing process in a first printing press, in the second printing operation, a second section of the printing surface being printed by way of a second printing process which is preferably different from the first printing process in a second printing press, the beverage can being positioned before or during the second printing operation in such a way that the second section of the printing surface is oriented in a predefined position with respect to the first section of the printing surface. The beverage can is printed by way of this method, the first section and the second section of the printing surface being arranged in a predefined position with respect to one another.

FILM FOR COATING METAL SHEET AND RESIN COATED METAL SHEET
A film for coating a metal sheet, the film satisfying that: a ratio (E.sub.MD/E.sub.TD) of a Young's modulus E.sub.MD in a lengthwise direction to a Young's modulus E.sub.TD in a width direction is 1.1 to 4.0; and a thermal shrinkage rate, measured by a thermo-mechanical analyzer, in both lengthwise and width directions at 200° C. is equal to or smaller than 20%.

REUSABLE RECYCLABLE PACKING POUCH
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including a reusable recyclable packing pouch are described. The reusable recyclable packing pouch includes a plastic container, a paperboard jacket, and an adhesive coating. The plastic container includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion has a shaped region with a flange extending around a perimeter of the shaped region. The second portion is sized to mate with the flange such as to define a space between facing surfaces of the second portion and the shaped region of the first portion. The paperboard jacket comprising an aperture defined therethrough. The aperture is sized to permit the shaped region of the plastic container to pass through while the flange extends past edges of aperture and overlaps with a region of paperboard jacket at a periphery of the aperture. The adhesive coating located on a surface of the paperboard jacket.

BIODEGRADABLE AND COMPOSTABLE VESSELS, SUCH AS COFFEE PODS, COATED WITH PECVD COATINGS OR LAYERS
Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a vessel comprising a wall at least partially made of a compostable or biodegradable material, having an interior surface enclosing a lumen and an exterior surface; and a PECVD coating set on the interior surface, the exterior surface, or both. The PECVD coating set comprises a barrier coating or layer of SiOx, in which x is from about 1.5 to about 2.9 as measured by XPS. The PECVD coating set optionally further comprises a tie coating or layer comprising SiOxCy, in which x is from about 0.5 to about 2.4 and y is from about 0.6 to about 3 as measured by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS); a pH protective coating or layer comprising SiOxCy, in which x is from about 0.5 to about 2.4 and y is from about 0.6 to about 3 as measured by XPS; or both. The vessel may also include a lacquer coating between the surface of the wall and the PECVD coating set. In some embodiments, the vessel may be a single use coffee or tea pod.
