DENTAL RESTORATION SCREW REMOVAL SYSTEM AND METHOD
An aspect of some embodiments of the present invention relates to solutions for the removal of dental implant screws with stripped heads and/or dental implant screws that are difficult to remove. Optionally, the method for removing a dental implant screw comprises a method for removing the head from the shaft of a dental implant screw, for example by drilling. Once the head is removed, the abutment is optionally removed, thereby exposing the threaded screw shaft within the fixture of the implant and/or the mount for aligning the abutment. Optionally, removal of the abutment allows use the attachment to guide removal of a screw shaft.
DENTAL DISEASE TREATING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR TREATING DENTAL DISEASE
Disclosed are a dental disease treating device, and more particularly, to a dental disease treating device that may generate high-density plasma that is required for a treatment of a dental disease, such as periodontitis, and minimize generation of ozone as well, and a method for treating a dental disease. The dental disease treating device that generates plasma for treating a dental disease, includes a handpiece body having a space part in an interior thereof, a plasma generating part mounted in the space part of the handpiece body, and that generates the plasma by exciting a gas in a plasma generating space in an interior thereof, and a tip part detachably coupled to an end nozzle of the handpiece body or the plasma generating part, and the tip part includes a passage for irradiating the plasma to a local portion while inhibiting oxygen from being introduced into the plasma generating space.
Method and system for provisioning of dental implants and related services
The present invention relates to a system and method for dental implant and restorative services. By locating the key functions at one physical location, dental implant services are efficiently provided to patients. These functions include a treatment coordinator, a direct marketer, a restorative doctor/prosthodontist, a surgeon, an imaging area, and a dental laboratory, Further, services for dentate patients are improved by utilizing advanced dental implant methods and systems. These methods and systems include both model-based services and CT (computed tomography) guided surgery services. Using these services, improved surgical guides for dental implants are constructed.
POSITIONING AND INSTALLING SURGICAL DRILLING DEVICES AND RELATED DEVICES AND SYSTEMS
In some aspects, dental drill guides can include a body defining an outer surface and an interior hole for receiving and positioning a dental drill; a first end of the body defining a tapered lead-in portion of the outer surface; a second end of the body opposite the first end defining at least one lip feature configured to be gripped by a handling tool; an outer circumferentially formed recess around the outer surface; and a seating feature extending from the outer surface.
Estimating a surface texture of a tooth
Embodiments for estimating a surface texture of a tooth are described herein. One method embodiment includes collecting a sequence of images utilizing multiple light conditions using an intra-oral imaging device and estimating the surface texture of the tooth based on the sequence of images.
Dental implant guiding tool set and dental implant guiding sleeve thereof
A dental implant guiding tool set and a dental implant guiding sleeve thereof are disclosed. The dental implant guiding tool set includes a handpiece, a dental implant guiding sleeve and a tooth mold fastening device. The dental implant guiding sleeve includes a handpiece head guiding hole disposed axially and corresponding to a shape of the handpiece head of the handpiece, a lateral opening disposed on a side of the handpiece head guiding hole and corresponding to a connection handle of the handpiece. The dental implant guiding sleeve can directly guide the handpiece head of the handpiece, to prevent the dental implant guiding sleeve from directly contacting the drill bit mounted on the handpiece. Therefore, a conventional drill bit can be directly used for a guiding dental implant operation, and the minimal required operation space of the dental implant guiding tool set can be reduced.
Method of implanting dental restoration
In order to improve the reliability of a dental restoration, a method of implanting the dental restoration is provided. The method includes virtually disposing a virtual implant selected from a digital library on the basis of a CT image to correspond to an implantation information, and a virtual implanting guide sleeve, which is virtually and concentrically disposed to be spaced upward from an upper end portion of the virtual implant by an offset distance, and a scanning image overlap and are integrally stored; and generating design information of a surgical guide, wherein a virtual coupling hole corresponding to an outer circumference of the virtual implanting guide sleeve is formed in the design information.
VISUAL PROSTHETIC AND ORTHODONTIC TREATMENT PLANNING
Systems and methods for improved visual prosthetic and orthodontic treatment planning are provided herein. In some aspects, a method for preparing a tooth of a patient is disclosed. The method may comprise building a model of a dentition of the patient including a model of the initial shape of tooth. The method may also include determining a final prepared shape of the tooth. In some aspects, the method may also include generating a treatment plan comprising a plurality of steps to modify the initial shape of the tooth to the final prepared shape of the tooth. The method may also include rendering visualizations for the plurality of steps of the treatment plan. The visualizations may depict the removal of tooth material to modify the initial shape of the tooth to the final prepared shape of the tooth.
System and method for dental surgical guide with hydraulic valve
Provided is a system and method for a dental surgical guide for placing at least one dental implant in a patient's mouth. The surgical guide is a formed prosthesis with a contour to fit upon a patient's teeth. The formed prosthesis providing; at least one guide sleeve disposed in the formed prosthesis and structured and arranged to guide a surgical tool into a patient's jaw at a predetermined location, the guide sleeve defining a tool alignment pathway; at least one irrigant port structured and arranged to receive an irrigant line from a remote irrigant source and conduct the irrigant to a spout disposed proximate to each guide sleeve. A hydraulically activated valve may also be disposed within the spout. An associated method of use is also provided.
SECURELY MANAGING DIGITAL ASSISTANTS THAT ACCESS THIRD-PARTY APPLICATIONS
Systems herein allow a digital assistant to make requests to applications, such as third-party applications, that access data in an enterprise mobility management (“EMM”) system. The digital assistant can link to a portal application and receive a token that identifies a user. A remote application on a user device can establish a session with the portal application as part of a single sign on (“SSO”). The session can identify the same user. The portal application can then link the digital assistant to the remote application. When the digital assistant makes a request to the portal application, a notification can be pushed to the remote application. The user can confirm the request, establishing an authorized session during which time the digital assistant can make additional requests to the portal application. The portal application can service the requests by accessing third-party applications available through the portal application and authorized for access by the SSO.
