A storage and mixing device includes a mixing compartment, two pistons that each extend from the mixing compartment and end in a displacement section, each piston defining a passageway having a first opening communicating with the mixing compartment and a second opening communicating with an inlet at the displacement section, and a housing having two piston guides and a cartridge compartment connected to the piston guide, each piston guide slidably receiving one of the pistons, and each cartridge compartment receiving a removable cartridge that includes a cavity for containing separate substances and an opening sealed by a cartridge seal. The displacement section of each piston includes a piercing member for piercing the cartridge seal of the cartridge arranged in the corresponding cartridge compartment, such that the displacement section enters the cartridge cavity and displaces the contained substance into the mixing compartment via the inlet and the passageway.

According to an exemplary embodiment, a toothbrush having one or two heads for use in a variety of humans and animals may be shown and described. The toothbrush can have offset heads and bristle areas, include multiple curves of an arm portion to provide improved access and cleaning ability, and may be separable or combined with other toothbrush elements or components.

An applicator for the application of an oral care composition to an oral cavity. The applicator may include an applicator tip and an applicator handle detachably or non-detachably connected to a proximal end of the applicator tip. The applicator tip may include an external ridge, a plurality of internal ridges, and a plurality of internal channels between the plurality of internal ridges.

A dual-ended triple tooled dental applicator apparatus, comprising a plurality of tools with interchangeable dental tool applicators. The dental apparatus further comprises an elongated handle having two distinct tools on both ends and being detachable and interchangeable. During procedures, the dentist can alternate between both ends of the apparatus and among three dental tool applicators. A set of overlapping and circumferential friction enhancement means, along and about the apparatus, facilitate safe and effective handling during procedures. The multi-functioned dental apparatus is comprised of a lightweight but rigid materials (e.g., plastic), which allows the dentist to efficiently use the same tool for working with and applying different materials to a patient's teeth. Upon completion of a given procedure, the entire device may be readily disposable.

A single dose material and applicator package that is easily held for removal of a cover and that contains an easily removable applicator. A tray has an applicator well and a material well. Formed in the applicator well is a finger depression adjacent the material well and an applicator support depression adjacent an opposing end of the applicator well. The finger depression permits easy grasping of the tray for removing the cover. The applicator support depression acts as a fulcrum to pivot or lever the applicator out of the tray when a force is applied to one end of the applicator. A material well ramp permits a controlled amount of material to be placed on the applicator brush.

A dental pipette. The dental pipette includes a container having a chamber configured to receive and retain fluids therein. A nozzle positioned at one end of the container is in fluid communication with the chamber via a conduit. A plurality of apertures disposed on the nozzle enable fluids within the chamber to be dispensed from the nozzle. A plurality of bristles extend radially outwardly from the nozzle and taper in length from one end of the nozzle to a second end of the nozzle forming a cone-like construction. The apertures and bristles are positioned at intervals and assist with the cleaning of teeth, gums, and the like. A hollow, beveled tip disposed at one end of the nozzle facilitates easy insertion under the gum line and in between teeth. Usage of the dental pipette provides protection from gum infection, bone loss, and tooth loss.

A dual-ended triple tooled dental applicator apparatus, comprising a plurality of tools with at least one being removably attached. The dental apparatus further comprises a unitary contiguous device having three distinct tools with one tool being detachably connected by a scribe line forming a frangible removable portion thereof. The multi-functioned dental apparatus is comprised of a lightweight but rigid materials (e.g., plastic), which allows the dentist to efficiently use the same tool for working with and applying different materials to a patient's teeth. Upon completion of a given procedure, the end with the frangible portion, as well as the entire device after use, are rendered readily disposable.

A dental milling blank for the production of permanent indirect restorations in the CAD/CAM process, characterized in that it has a water sorption WSP of less than/equal to 18 g/mm.sup.3, measured according to ISO 4049 and an E modulus E greater than/equal to 13 GPa, measured according to the ADA specification No. 27 and a quotient Q of WSP/E of less than 1.35 g/(GPamm.sup.3) and consists of the polymerization product of a radically curable dental composition, which comprises a) inorganic fillers, wherein the total mass of the inorganic fillers is at least 83 wt. %, based on the total mass of the composition, b) radically polymerizable monomers, c) one or more initiators for radically curing.

A dental dispensing tip includes a body having a first body end, a second body end, and a fluid passageway extending between the first and second body ends. A brush cup is provided at the second body end and has a brush barrel defined therein. A brush applicator is secured within the brush barrel and includes a plurality of bristles, wherein a first end of the brush applicator is received within the brush barrel and a second end of the brush applicator extends out of the brush barrel. A delivery cannula is in fluid communication with the fluid passageway and has a bent end entering the plurality of bristles at an intermediate location between the first and second ends to deliver the dental solution to the plurality of bristles.
