COLLATERAL DELIVERY UNITS, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DELIVERING COLLATERAL CONTENT
Embodiments of the present invention include collateral delivery units, systems and methods of use thereof. The collateral delivery units and systems described herein can be used to distribute collateral materials—from product samples to game pieces and interactive content. The collateral delivery units and systems may also be used to distribute information about publicly available resources to those in need thereof. Various embodiments of the collateral delivery units, systems and methods described herein allow a vendor to expand and extend a consumer's retail shopping experience through integrating marketing content onto a shopping bag.
Films and bags with visually distinct regions and methods of making the same
One or more implementations of a multi-layer film include a first substantially un-pigmented layer non-continuously bonded to a second pigmented layer. The multi-layer film includes an unexpected appearance differing from the appearance of the pigmented layer. In one or more embodiments, the multi-layer film includes a metallic appearance despite the pigmented layer being devoid of metallic pigment. The multi-layer film also includes areas that are visually distinct from areas of the film with the unexpected appearance. The visually-distinct areas comprise areas in which the first substantially un-pigmented layer non-continuously bonded is in intimate contact with the second pigmented layer. The visually-distinct areas have the appearance of the pigmented layer. One or more implementations also include methods of making multi-layer films and bags with an unexpected appearance and visually-distinct areas.
Easy Open Plastic Bags
A woven laminated plastic bag having an easy open feature is provided. The easy open feature is generally defined by a weakened portion in the bag. In various aspects the bag can be fabricated from a woven polyethylene layer which can be laminated with a polyethylene film layer, can form a pinch bottom bag, and can have one or both sides include graphics and/or printing. The bag can also provide a top end and/or a bottom end either or both of which provide a discrete area which may contain discrete graphics and/or printing.
PACKAGING SYSTEM
Described herein are packaging systems having a receptacle and one or a plurality of expandable members that are configured to move from a collapsed configuration to an expanded configuration. In some variations the expandable member includes one or a plurality of folded pieces of material (e.g., tissue paper or fabric (e.g., tulle)), which are attached to the receptacle. In the expanded configuration, the expandable member(s) obscure an object (e.g., a gift) placed within the receptacle without closing the receptacle.
Sterilization pouch with internal and external indicators
A sterilization package includes a first package layer and a second package layer coupled to the first package layer with a perimeter seal extending around a portion of the sterilization package to define a pouch having a proximal end and a distal end. A first sterilization indicium is disposed on the second package layer exterior of the pouch and a second sterilization indicium is disposed on the second package layer interior of the pouch. The first and second sterilization indicia are multi-parameter sterilization indicia configured to be responsive to a sterilization process such that the first and second sterilization indicia undergo a visual change to a desired ending color when the package is subjected to complete multi-parameter sterilization conditions.
ELECTRODES CONTAINER
Described is a container (1) for electrodes (E) to be used preferably in apparatuses for stimulating the human body and in the health sector, which allows a signal to be sent to the user upon the reaching, by an inside environment (3) of the container, of at least one temperature threshold, the reaching of which can produce negative effects on the components of the product which are perishable by heat, in such a way as to adversely affect the correct operation before the nominal expiry date indicated.
Method of Packaging Food in a Bag
A bag has a bag body that defines an interior and opening. A reclosable closure is configured for repeatably and nondestructively closing and opening the opening. A covering flap is connected to the bag body, extends away from the bag opening, and has a zone of weakness. The covering flap can be attached to the bag body while covering the closure. To access the closure, the covering flap is torn along its zone of weakness. The bag can also have a removable panel, which can be attached to the removable panels of other bags to form a header pack. The bag body and covering flap can be removed from the header pack by being torn along another zone of weakness between the covering flap and removable panel that has a lower tear strength that the zone of weakness of the covering flap.
Packages with Raised Portions
Packages having raised portions that provide improvements in displaying graphics, such as images and branding.
Multi-Layer Bag with Loss of Integrity Means of Detection
A multi-layer bag comprising a porous portion configured to allow a sterilizing gas to penetrate into the bag and a gas-impervious portion, characterized in that the gas-impervious portion comprises an outer layer, an inner layer and an intermediate layer integrally formed together so that the intermediate layer is sealingly enclosed between the outer layer and the inner layer so as to be physically isolated from inner and outer environment of the bag, and the intermediate layer comprises a matrix and at least one pigment distributed within the matrix, the pigment being configured to change at least one optical property in reaction to an environment change resulting from a damage of the outer and/or inner layer.
