A container or pouch made entirely from an elastomer includes a body having a front wall and a rear wall that is connected to the front wall along a peripheral edge, and a closure system that includes a front side having a front sealing profile that includes a male closure element that extends from a thickened region and a rear side having a rear sealing profile that includes a female closure element and defining an opening into a cavity. A centerline extends through the opening, the cavity, the male closure element, and the thickened region when the closure system is in a closed configuration. The closure system includes a left tab and a right tab that each extend in an outward direction.

A carrier bag has a first side panel (back panel) with a first carrier handle, which may be a first flexible loop, and an opposing second side panel (front panel) with a second carrier handle, which may be a second flexible loop. The first side panel has a first upper edge and a first lower edge as well as two opposite first side edges, wherein the second side panel has a second upper edge and a second lower edge as well as two opposite second side edges. The first upper edge is displaced by a third distance from the second upper edge. A storage bag includes first and second sidewalls that are directly connected without a pleat between the sidewalls at a bottom of the bag. The bag includes a plurality of shift regions at bottom portions of the sidewalls. The bag can be moved about the shift regions such that the bag is shiftable between a flat configuration with the first and second sidewalls positioned adjacent to each other and a stand-up configuration with the first and second sidewalls separated from each other. Disclosed herein are adapters for use with ordinary lawn and leaf bags. In one example, a foldable, expandable, and reusable adapter is provided. The adapter includes a rectangular base unit that is designed to receive four connector pieces. The four connector pieces are made of a rigid material and may include respective vertical and horizontal creases that allow them to be folded. As such, once assembled, the adapter may be folded for storage and later expanded for use. In use, the adapter is inserted into a lawn or leaf bag and provides a larger opening for the bag as well as prevents the mouth of the bag from closing.

A process of manufacturing a roll of plastic bags. The process includes forming a tubular blown film, and collapsing the tubular blown film so that the tubular blown film includes a first side, a second side, a first edge, and a second edge. Openings are cut in the collapsed tubular blown film, and sealing closure mechanisms are inserted through the openings into the collapsed tubular blown film.
