DRILL HEAD STRUCTURE FOR DENTAL HANDPIECE
The present invention discloses a drill head structure for dental handpiece comprising a drill head main body, a screw nut and an adjusting ring. The drill head main body may be attached to a driving end of a dental handpiece so that the drill head main body may be driven by the dental handpiece to rotate at high speed. On the drill head main body is disposed a thread section. The screw nut is a hexagonal nut to be screwed to the thread section of the drill head main body. The adjustment ring has predetermined ring widths, and at a center thereof is disposed a hexagonal screw nut indent for the screw nut to be fitted into it. At a center of the adjustment ring is also disposed a threaded hole to be screwed to the foregoing thread section. The dental bone drill structure provided according to the present invention may achieve the purpose of controlling the drilling depth to which the drill head goes in and determine the drilling position.

Fixation Base and Guides for Dental Prosthesis Installation
Apparatus and method for installing a multi-tooth dental prosthesis in one session are shown and described. A first tool attaches to the jawbone, and serves as a foundation for subsequently used guides. Existing teeth and dental fixtures are removed, and the bone tissue is removed to accommodate the prosthesis. Subsequently, a drill guide is used to drill implant holes. An abutment guide is then used to place abutments. Copings are then installed. Next, the prosthesis may be installed and cemented to the copings. A resinous filler material may be applied to fill gaps and holes in and between the copings and the prosthesis, and is sanded smooth.
System and Method for Guiding Medical Instruments
A system is disclosed. The system contains an instrument configured to fit in a patient's anatomy, an optical sensor associated with the instrument, a processing unit receiving data from the optical sensor, and a display displaying position of the instrument in the patient's anatomy based on the data from the optical sensor.

Medical or dental handpiece with inductive coupling
Various medical or dental handpieces having at least one coil for inductive coupling with a second coil and methods for using these handpieces for the transmission of at least one of power, operational data and identification data are described. Also various tool-holding/releasing devices for medical or dental handpieces are described, having at least one shaped element penetrating through a bore in a hollow shaft for accommodating a tool and protruding through the bore into the hollow shaft, a movably arranged locking sleeve cooperating with the shaped element and an operating element for moving the locking sleeve. Some of these tool-holding/releasing devices allow the insertion of the tool into the hollow shaft with different insertion depths.
