An enclosure for containment and removal of hazardous material from objects is described, having a frame comprising a plurality of bars and a plurality of joints, each joint being releasably connectable to at least two bars, a flexible bag attachable to the frame, the bag being at least in part transparent, and comprising a resealable seam, and at least one adjusting device for tightening or loosening the bag on the frame. Usually, the enclosure, in use, is a negative pressure enclosure. The enclosure is particularly useful for containing and removing asbestos, especially from pipes. Also described are methods for removal of hazardous material from an object and methods for isolating an animal having an infectious and/or contagious disease using the enclosures.

In various aspects the bag can be fabricated from woven polypropylene and/or polyethylene layer which can be laminated with a film layer, can form a pinch bottom bag, and can have one or both sides include graphics and/or printing. The bag can also provide a top end and/or a bottom end either or both of which provide a discrete area which may contain discrete graphics and/or printing. The bag can also include a sealed closure that at least a portion of which can be easily peeled open with less force than the remainder of the sealed closure.

The invention describes a pouch-type bag, with a first wall and with a second wall, which comprise paper and which are connected to one another via side edges, so that a filling space is provided, wherein the second wall, viewed in the longitudinal direction of the pouch, protrudes beyond the first wall, with two ends, wherein a base is arranged at one end, which base comprises at least one envelope area of the second wall, wherein the envelope area is folded over about a first crease line at least onto parts of the first wall, wherein an opening is provided at the other end, via which opening the filling space is accessible, wherein one of the walls comprises a sealing area which can be folded over about a second crease line onto the outside of the other wall and can be fastened there by means of an adhesive element applied to the sealing area.

The sealing area comprises a tear-off aid between the second crease line and the adhesive element, with which the sealing area can be at least partially severed to allow renewed access to the filling space.

The method can comprise forming an attached web by adhering a construct to a web of material, and moving the attached web in a downstream direction through at least a web edge forming assembly. The moving the attached web can comprise moving the construct with the web of material. The method further can include at least partially forming a folded web by folding at least a portion of the web of material as the attached web moves through the web folding assembly and forming a reinforced package comprising a liner and the construct by separating the liner from a remainder of the folded web. The construct is adhered to the liner.
