Airtight container having deformable cover unit or deformable container unit
Disclosed is an airtight container having a deformable cover unit or a deformable container unit, which ensures easy maintenance of the cover unit and allows the cover unit to be easily used with a large-capacity fixed container unit, or which includes an expandable accommodating space or an expandable inlet to accommodate various sizes of storage items therein in an airtight manner. The airtight container includes a deformable cover unit for useable with a fixed container unit. Alternatively, the airtight container includes first and second frames pivotably connected to each other so as to be selectively coupled to or come into contact with each other in order to seal a contact or coupling portion therebetween, and a deformable container unit disposed over the frames and configured to provide an accommodating space for a storage item therein. The first and second frames are disposed along the inlet rim of the container unit.
Method and System for Forming Packages
A method of forming reinforced packages. The method can comprise forming an attached web by adhering a blank to a web of material and moving the attached web in a downstream direction through at least a tube forming assembly and a carton forming assembly. The method also can comprise at least partially forming a tube by folding at least a portion of the web of material as the attached web moves through the tube forming assembly, forming a reinforcement sleeve by folding at least a portion of the blank so that the reinforcement sleeve extends at least partially around the tube as the attached web moves through the carton forming assembly, and forming a reinforced package comprising the reinforcement sleeve and a tube portion by separating the tube portion from a remainder of the tube, the reinforcement sleeve being adhered to the tube portion.

Inside out method of manufacturing a container with a leak resistant seal
Embodiments include a method of manufacturing a container with a leak resistant seal. The method includes forming an elastomer or a plastic or any combination thereof into a container inside out by forming an outside portion of the container on an internal surface of the container before inverting the container and forming an inside portion of the container on an external surface of the container before inverting the container. In embodiments, the method includes forming or coupling a leak resistant seal on the external surface of the container before inverting the container. The leak resistant seal provides access to the inside portion of the container when the leak resistant seal is open after inverting the container and holds at least liquid internal to the container when applying an external force to the container without use of an external structure to keep the leak resistant seal closed after inverting the container.
Operation-side containment structure for automated cleaning of a process vessel
A containment structure includes a skeleton support structure and a partial enclosure formed of sheets to house an automated system for cleaning process equipment, such as heat exchangers. The partial enclosure includes a front sheet, a pair of opposing side sheets, a rear sheet, a top sheet, and a floor sheet. Each one of the front sheet and side sheets is supported by the skeleton structure. The side sheets have a rear height that is less than a front height of the side sheets and the rear sheet has a height that is less than a height of the front sheet.

Bistable pull-snap hold open mechanism and method
Provided is a fitment bistable pull-snap hold open mechanism including a flexible first and second flat, strip like members with one or more pivot members integrated into the second flat, strip like member. The first flat, strip like member is coupled to the second flat, strip like member at their respective ends with two or more bonding points. The one or more pivot members include a vertical living hinge and a flexure, which allows the mechanism to be biased between an open configuration and a closed configuration. The vertical living hinge does not extend to the top edge or the bottom edge of the second flat, strip like member to improve the integrity of the mechanism. The first and second flat, strip like members are applied proximate the opening of a flexible package on the inside walls and allow the package to be maintained in the open position for removing its contents.
