3D/flip/motion photo-substrate, imaging processes, and applications thereof
The present invention provides a photo-substrate for printing of lenticular images that comprises a lenticular lens array, and an energy-reactive material adhered to the backside of the lenticular lens array. According to the methods of the present invention, the lenticular image is printed directly through the lenticular lens array onto the energy-reactive material, using, for example, collimated light or laser. The photo-substrate of the present invention can be adapted for large scale or industrial production to print lenticular images on a wide array of substrates, including such things as packaging and clothing.

Method for manufacturing a packaging material, a packaging material, and a packaging
The invention relates to a production method of a material, a material and packaging intended mainly for food products. The design of the material used in the packaging machines allows for providing handles in the final packaging without the need for secondary operations. The handles are obtained through either placing a secondary narrower web onto the primary material, wherein the handle constitutes said web, or adjacent holes are cut in the primary material, wherein the handle is formed by the holes separating the primary material. A combination of these two methods or materials is also conceivable. In the area of holes, the primary material is joined with the secondary material, which is either a film or a membrane, wherein the secondary material is larger than the holes and it forms an overlap around them. The materials are joined in the overlap area around the inner circumference of the secondary material.

Gift bag having a three-dimensional window display and fixed three-dimensional elements
Disclosed herein is a gift bag having a fixed three-dimensional window display and fixed three-dimensional elements. The bag includes a front that is substantially flat and a back that is disposed at a spaced distance behind the front. The front includes an aperture and a window display sheet through which a background and foreground display can be viewed. The foreground display is disposed at a spaced distance in front of the background display and affixed so that the background and foreground display together form one cohesive decorative scene or image.
Method for making windowed packaging material
A method is disclosed for forming a windowed packaging material. According to the method a web of packaging material is cut in substantially the machine direction along a non-linear path. The cutting action provides two subwebs, each having protruding edge portions and recessed edge portions. The two subwebs are displaced relative to one another so that the protruding edge portions face one another. In this configuration opposing recessed edge portions form windows. The two subwebs are adhered to one another at the opposing protruding edge portions. The resulting windows may be covered with a material that is transparent and/or breathable. A strip of handle material may be applied spanning the respective windows.
