METHOD OF MANUFACTURING HEADERLESS PRODUCE BAGS WITH INCREASED ADHESION
During the manufacturing process the exterior surface of one or both of the sheets of plastic film which form the bags is treated with low temperature corona discharge plasma to raise the level of surface charge magnitude to at least 43 Dyne to increase the adhesion force between the bags. A recess is formed in each of the bags to further increase the adhesion. The increased adhesion causes the mouth of one bag to automatically open as the adjacent bag is removed from the rack. The recess is formed at the same time openings are created in the bags to accept the support rods of a dispensing rack. The bags can have simple edge sides or side gussets and may be provided in a package including a pouch which receives and supports the lower portions of the bags.
ARTICLE FOR MOUNTING ON AN INCLINED OR VERTICAL SURFACE
An article for mounting on an inclined or vertical surface includes at least one piece of reclosable fastener material, collectively comprising a plurality of apertures formed therein; and at least one pocket, located within the article behind said piece(s) of reclosable fastener material, each of the apertures providing a respective passageway from the pocket(s) to an exterior of the article. Each aperture permits a head of an elongate fastener to be inserted therethrough, so that the elongate fastener can be retained within the pocket(s), and the plurality of apertures thereby allowing the article to hang from a plurality of elongate fasteners that have been driven into the surface.
Hanging bag dispenser
A hanging bag dispenser includes a bag support platform having a surface that contacts a last bag in a vertically supported bag pack. A mounting device is attached to the platform to engage a mounting aperture that penetrates each bag in the bag pack. A positioning system is attached to the bag support platform and maintains the bag support platform at a sufficient height to allow the bag pack to extend downwardly from the mounting device. A pivotally mounted bag control arm is mounted to the platform and permits installation of the bag pack on the mounting device when pivoted to a loading position and rests upon an outermost bag in the bag pack when pivoted to a control position. A guard plate is mounted adjacent the control arm that prevents access to an upper portion of the bag pack when the control arm is in to the control position.
Hanging bag dispenser
A hanging bag dispenser includes a bag support platform having a surface that contacts a last bag in a vertically supported bag pack. A mounting device is attached to the platform to engage a mounting aperture that penetrates each bag in the bag pack. A positioning system is attached to the bag support platform and maintains the bag support platform at a sufficient height to allow the bag pack to extend downwardly from the mounting device. A pivotally mounted bag control arm is mounted to the platform and permits installation of the bag pack on the mounting device when pivoted to a loading position and rests upon an outermost bag in the bag pack when pivoted to a control position. An embodiment includes a bag comprising mesh and film side walls and a reinforcing strip of film; wherein (a) the mesh side wall is sealed to opposing side edges of the film side wall; (b) the reinforcing strip of film is sealed to an upper portion of the mesh side wall and to the opposing side edges of the film side wall; (c) the film side wall has a bottom extension, which is monolithic with the film side wall, extending upwardly and sealed along a lateral extent of a bottom portion of the mesh side wall; (d) the film side wall is non-coplanar with a portion of the bottom extension; (e) another portion of the bottom extension is non-coplanar with the mesh side wall; and (f) a horizontal axis intersects the bottom portion of the film side wall and three portions of the bottom extension.

Reclosable flap device
A resealable flap device in the form of a sheet, for applying to or incorporating in packaging, comprises: a base layer 30 of flexible material, and an upper layer 40 of stiff material. The sheet is cut (15) through both layers to outline a flap portion 14, the cut leaving an edge in a hinge region 18, the upper layer being removed behind the line of the hinge region 18. In this way the flexible base layer forms a hinge 18 that is easy to handle and does not spring back, while the stiff upper layer maintains the shape of the flap.
Reclosable flap device
A resealable flap device in the form of a sheet, for applying to or incorporating in packaging, comprises: a base layer 30 of flexible material, and an upper layer 40 of stiff material. The sheet is cut (15) through both layers to outline a flap portion 14, the cut leaving an edge in a hinge region 18, the upper layer being removed behind the line of the hinge region 18. In this way the flexible base layer forms a hinge 18 that is easy to handle and does not spring back, while the stiff upper layer maintains the shape of the flap.
All-in-one gift packaging system
A system for a greeting card. The greeting card has a planar greeting card portion and a greeting card cover moveably coupled to the planar greeting card portion. The greeting card cover can move from an open position whereby the planar greeting card portion is readable to a closed position adjacent to said planar greeting card portion whereby the planar greeting card portion is not readable. The greeting card portion is coupled to a gift storage compartment which has a volume and a depth for storing an item. The greeting card cover can open and close without moving the gift storage compartment.
