A carry-on package bag includes a bag opening and two primary bag sheets opposite to each other. Top edges of the primary bag sheets collectively define the bag opening. Each primary bag sheet includes a first fold line, a first foldable sealing section below the first fold line, and a second foldable sealing section between the first fold line and the top edge. Each first foldable sealing section has at least one first carrying hole. Each second foldable sealing section has at least one second carrying hole symmetric with respect to the first carrying hole about the first fold line. The second foldable sealing sections are foldable along the first fold lines toward the same direction to be overlapping and stacked on the first foldable sealing sections so that the second carrying hole and the first carrying hole correspond to and communicate with each other.

A second gift bag strap of a second gift bag is secured to a second engaging member on the middle section. The first engaging member is larger than the second engaging member, the first gift bag strap is larger than the second gift bag strap, and the first gift bag is larger than the second gift bag. The binding device is folded at the first crease and the second crease.

A new package for storing bulky goods is disclosed. The package is formed from a bag having a width and depth at its base portion and meeting at a top edge, the top edge having no depth. Due to the top edge having no depth, the width of the material on the top portion of the package extends out further than the width of the material on the base portion. To create a package having streamlined aesthetic that looks nice on a shelf, the excess material in the top portion of the bag is folded into the interior of the bag to form a false side gusset. To allow for such folding the bag, in desirable embodiments, side edges of a first and second web forming the bag angle inward at between about 30 degrees and about 60 degrees at a top portion transition point on the bag.

A covering flap is connected to the bag body, extends away from the bag opening, and has a zone of weakness. The covering flap can be attached to the bag body while covering the closure. To access the closure, the covering flap is torn along its zone of weakness. The bag can also have a removable panel, which can be attached to the removable panels of other bags to form a header pack. The bag body and covering flap can be removed from the header pack by being torn along another zone of weakness between the covering flap and removable panel that has a lower tear strength that the zone of weakness of the covering flap.
