AUTOMATED HANDLING AND MANIPULATION OF PACKAGES AND PACKAGES SPECIALLY ADAPTED THEREFOR
Systems, methods, and apparatuses for handling and manipulating packages in automated or semi-automated fashion and packages adapted for the same. The systems may include package-holding devices, package-manipulating devices, and package-detection components for locating packages or portions thereof in a three-dimensional space. The packages may include features that enable automated or semi-automated handling and manipulation thereof, such as different types of opening/closing mechanisms with different geometric structures that allow for holding, shifting, and manipulating the packages and/or portions thereof with the package-manipulating devices. The packages additionally or alternatively may include mechanical fasteners, magnets, and/or spring-biased opening/closing mechanisms for keeping the packages closed prior to manipulation thereof. Such packages and systems may be used in a logistics network to the increase speed, accuracy, and efficiency of processing packages having, at least in part, a non-fixed geometry.
Tamper evident sealable bag assembly with note tab and method
A tamper evident delivery bag assembly includes a single use closure tape is laterally mounted to the first panel upper section, and includes an upper lateral portion extending laterally above the first edge of the bag assembly in an unsealed condition. The tape upper lateral portion can be folded over the second edge of the second panel such that an adhesive of the tape is brought into contact with the exterior surface of the second panel, substantially sealing the bag opening in a sealed condition. The leg portions of the handles are received through the cutouts of the tape. The closure tape member further includes a note tab extending downwardly from a middle lateral portion thereof. The note tab includes a tab adhesive and a removable protective cover. When the protective cover is removed, the note can be placed between the tab adhesive and the exterior surface of the first panel, and adhered therebetween in a mounted condition.
Tamper-Evident Bag Seal
A tamper-evident bag seal. The tamper-evident bag seal may include a body having a length and a width, the body may include a first panel and a second panel, the first and second panels each having a first side and second side; a fold line extending along the length of the body dividing the first panel and the second panel; a tear strip disposed along a length of at least one of the first panel and second panel; vertical separation lines disposed along opposing end portions of at least one of the first panel and second panel; and a first adhesive strip disposed on the second side of the first panel and a second adhesive strip disposed on the second side of the second panel.
Food delivery container closure
The food delivery container closure is a clip. The food delivery container closure is a single use structure. The food delivery container closure is configured for use with packaging. The food delivery container closure permanently secures the packaging in the closed position. The food delivery container closure is a sacrificial structure. The food delivery container closure is damaged when the food delivery container closure is removed from the packaging. The food delivery container closure includes a first arm, a second arm, a torsion structure, and a release structure. The torsion structure attaches the first arm to the second arm to form a clip used to secure the packaging. The first arm and the second arm permanently attach to the packaging. The release structure damages the torsion structure such that the first arm and the second arm detach, allowing the packaging to open.
Systems and Methods for Tamper-Resistant Securing Device for a Container
In some embodiments, systems and methods for a tamper-resistant securing device for use with a closeable container include a housing assembly, a lock member, and an identifier. The housing assembly can be configured to be moved from a sealed configuration to an unsealed configuration. The lock member can be at least partially enclosed within the housing assembly and the lock member can be configured to be moved between an unlocked orientation and a locked orientation. The identifier can be accessible when the lock member is in the locked orientation. The housing assembly and the lock member are configured to inhibit or permit movement of the lock member based on the sealed or unsealed configuration of the housing assembly.
SYSTEM TO HOLD MULTIPLE BEVERAGE CONTAINERS
A system for holding multiple beverage containers may include a cooler or carrier with toting handles, closing tabs, and base. The base may be formed from a molded plastic, rubber or synthetic rubber material. The base may also include feet that hold the base a sufficient height from the ground. The base may have a generally conic tapering drain floor that makes up its top surface. The tapering drain floor may make draining the carrier easier by directing water toward a drain hole located in the base. Extending up from the base may be a multi-layer soft-sided wall where different layers perform different desired functions. For example, an inside layer closest to the internal cavity may be a waterproof layer, a middle layer may be an insulating layer, and an external layer may be a decorative layer.
BAG FASTENER FOR FLEXIBLE BAGS
The disclosed fastener for pliable food bags consists of a conical-shaped base that tapers into a round, slotted top section that is open at both ends. The device contains a slotted opening that allows for a segment of flexible bag material to be secured within the slotted section. The slotted opening extends across the length of the device and contains a protruding notch to hold plastic bags in place.
Grocery transport packaging system
A method of delivering goods, the method comprising the steps of: providing a collapsible carrier bag (20), or providing a collapsible transport container (20), wherein the carrier bag (20) or the transport container (20) is provided in a collapsed state (20A); expanding the collapsible carrier bag or transport container in an environment having a pre-determined condition of the environment; loading chilled or frozen goods into an interior storage space of said transport container or carrier bag; and transporting said loaded transport container (20, 20C) or carrier bag (20, 20C) to a destination (DD).

EASY OPEN PLASTIC BAGS
A woven laminated plastic bag having features that prevent leakage of contents out of the bag, or infestation of organisms into the contents of the bag is provided. The bag can provide a top end and a bottom end that provide a discrete area that may contain discrete graphics or printing. The bag can also include an easy open feature that can be easily opened with less force than a sealed closure of the bag. The easy open feature may be oriented in various directions with respect to the bag.
