Sinter bonded containment tube

A containment tube includes a sealed tube comprising silicon carbide, first and second ends, an inner bore extending along at least a portion of its axial length between the first and second ends, and contains a radioactive material within the bore of the sealed tube. The first end has a plug residing in the inner bore to close the first end, and the second end has a distal wall that closes the inner bore at the second. At least one of the first or second ends is bonded to the sealed tube by a sinter bond.

Disclosed is a tampon applicator package assembly having a tampon applicator and a cap having a closed end and an open end. The tampon applicator has a barrel for housing a pledget and a plunger. The plunger has an end portion that is a cap cover that connects to a remainder of the plunger and mates with the cap at the open end to provide a seal with the cap that completely encloses the tampon applicator in the cap. Also disclosed is an assembly having a tampon applicator, a cap having both a closed end and open end, and a cap cover for covering the open end of the cap. When the cap cover is placed on the open end, the open end is sealed and the tampon applicator is completely enclosed in the cap.

METHOD OF PACKING A TEMPERATURE SENSITIVE PRODUCT

A method of packing a temperature sensitive product utilizes a temperature controlled product shipper that includes a phase change material bladder which can be filled at the point of packaging. The temperature sensitive product is contained within an product box or master case, which is in turn packed inside an insulated liner and an outer box. The PCM bladder fits between the master case and the insulated liner and is filled with a preconditioned flowable PCM at the point of packing just before closing the box for shipment.

The container body is shaped to define a mounting projection wherein a sample, such as a botanical sample, may be held. Container body and lid form an airtight seal. A sample may be visualized through the lens. In a preferred embodiment, lid is shaped to define scent openings permitting aroma sampling of a sample contained within. In one embodiment option, one or more projections secure a card bearing sample identification information.
