FLUID CARTRIDGE SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USING A FLUID CARTRIDGE SYSTEM
20180362241 · 2018-12-20 ·

A fluid cartridge system and method of removing a closure assembly from a first cartridge and a second cartridge includes a first cartridge body and a second cartridge body. A neck projects from the first cartridge body with a first outlet of the first cartridge and a second outlet of the second cartridge. A first closure having a first plug is received within the first outlet and includes a first closure coupling element. In addition, a second closure having a second plug is received within the second outlet and includes a second closure coupling element. The first closure coupling element is configured to interlock with the second closure coupling element such that securing the first cartridge body against the second cartridge body also connects the first closure to the second closure. As such, the first and second closures form the closure assembly for being collectively removed by an operator.

Methods for making flexible containers and associated products

Disclosed is a method for making a flexible container. The method implements an injection mold having a collapsible core that expands/moves to define the apertures and, in some embodiments, holds a flexible film in place during the injection mold process and collapses/moves back post-injection molding to allow for the flexible container to be readily removed from the die. In addition, the method described includes a post-injection molding anneal process that is implemented to allow the flexible film to shrink so as to provide for form-fitting of the film to the molded portion of the container.

INNER PLUG STRUCTURE FOR FLEXIBLE CONTAINER AND FLEXIBLE CONTAINER
20180339806 · 2018-11-29 · ·

An inner plug mounted to the neck of the flexible container has a cylindrical hollow portion that contains a valve element, a valve seat disposed below the valve element, a permanent magnet disposed below the valve seat that attracts the valve element to the valve seat, and a discharge outlet in the top of the inner plug to allow discharge of fluid contents of the container via a flow path extending from the discharge outlet to the container body via a void formed between the valve element and the valve seat. The valve element is movable between a closed valve state, in which the valve element contacts the valve seat, and the bottom of the discharge outlet. An open valve state is achieved once pressure inside the container overcomes the magnetic attraction of the valve element to the valve seat and forces the valve element away from the valve seat.

Vial rubber stopper

Provided is a vial rubber stopper using multiple types of rubber to prevent the vial rubber stopper from being scraped and from sticking to a presser plate. The vial rubber stopper includes: a cap portion having a flange; a piercing area formed to have a recess at a top surface of the cap portion and configured to traverse longitudinally the cap portion in an axial direction from the recess to a bottom surface of the cap portion; and a leg portion formed on the bottom surface of the cap portion in a way of extending downward and located outside the piercing area with respect to an axial center of the cap portion. The piercing area is formed of rubber having rubber hardness from 20 to 35, and the top surface other than the recess of the cap portion is formed of rubber having rubber hardness from 58 to 90.

An object is to provide a container sealing device which can perform an opening of an inner plug with a clear opening feeling. An inner plug 10 is assembled in advance to an upper closure 20 by using a second screwing part 52. At this time, since an assembling interval between a separation part 12 and the upper closure 20 can be adjusted by tip end parts 16t and 20u of a cylindrical part 16 which are first stoppers and the small-diameter cylinder part 20d, the second screwing part 52 can be brought into a lock state of being screwed to the deepest position or a state close to that. In opening the plug, the first screwing part 51 is loosened the second screwing part 52 is tightened, and the separation part 12 can be rapidly and reliably separated from a body part 10b of the inner plug 10.

Flat tire repair liquid container
10086574 · 2018-10-02 · ·

A flat tire repair liquid container is provided with: a closing stopper, which is formed from a non-elastomer material and is capable of sliding inside a flow channel; and a sealing member, which is formed from an elastomer material, is disposed in a ring shape conforming to an inner wall surface of a flow channel, closes a gap between the closing stopper and the flow channel, and holds the closing stopper at a predetermined position. During storage, the closing stopper is engaged with the sealing member to close the flow channel. During flat tire repair work, the closing stopper is pushed out from the sealing member by pressure inside the container and moved toward the outer side of the container in the flow channel to open the flow channel.

Container having a use indicator

A product includes a container, and an indicator carried inside the container, and including an air-reactive material and a protective material on the air-reactive material, and having a first visible characteristic with the protective material, and a second visible characteristic when exposed to air without the protective material. A package including the product, and a method for making the package are also disclosed.

Membrane type stopper

A stopper for a tank having an opening includes a body which is provided to be fixed in the opening and which has a hole, a membrane which is fixed to the body and of which a portion completely blocks the hole, a core which is fixed to the portion of the membrane which blocks the hole, and stop means which are provided to permit a movement of the core between a blocking position which corresponds to the non-broken membrane which blocks the hole, and an open position which corresponds to the broken membrane which is spaced apart from the hole, and to keep the core fixedly joined to the body in an open position. The knowledge of the characteristics of the membrane enables the force from which the stopper opens to be known.
