TAMPER-RESISTANT CLOSURE ASSEMBLY
A tamper-resistant closure assembly, comprising an elongate body having a proximal end and a distal end; a ferrule defining an interior major surface, wherein the interior major surface has a proximal region and a distal region; and a boss positioned adjacent the distal end of the elongate body and configured to resiliently urge outwardly against the interior major surface; wherein the elongate body is slidably retained within the ferrule by a shoulder extending radially outward of the elongate body; wherein the ferrule, the elongate body, or both defines a region so complementarily arranged relative to the boss as to resiliently urge the elongate body in a proximal direction relative to the ferrule in correspondence with a radially outward force applied by the boss against the interior major surface.
Closing Unit
A closing unit for closing a throughflow opening provided in a wall of a container, comprising: an inner closing element configured to be mounted on the edge of the wall all around the throughflow opening, wherein the inner closing element is further configured to connect in mounted position against at least the inner side of the wall and is provided with a passage for the content of the container; an outer closing element configured to be coupled releasably to the inner closing element for the purpose of closing the passage provided therein; wherein both the inner closing element and the outer closing element comprise a screw thread coupling for screwing the outer closing element onto the lower closing element; wherein the outer closing element comprises a peripheral press-on edge which is embodied to clamp the outer closing element against the outer side of the wall of the container when screwing.
Lid for a beverage container
A lid with a stopper for use with a beverage container is described. The lid includes a lid body to fit into an opening of the beverage container. The lid includes a stopper to threadably engage with the lid body. A drink opening is formed between the lid body and the stopper. The stopper rotates between open and closed positions to open and close the drink opening. The stopper includes hook members. The hook members are movable relative to the stopper. The hook members releasably hold the stopper to the lid.

Automatic container stopper and opener
An automated stopper and opener includes: a sleeve housing that is able to fit within a neck of a container; a mechanical feature that is able to vary a force applied to an internal surface of the sleeve such that a seal is able to be formed or released within the neck of the container; and an electronic controller that is able to manipulate the force applied to the internal surface of the sleeve by at least partly directing operations of the mechanical feature. An automated stopper includes: a cylindrical sleeve; a mechanical element that fits within the cylindrical sleeve and has a variable outer diameter; a communication interface that is able to receive commands from a user device; and a controller that is able to interpret the received commands and direct the mechanical element to control the variable outer diameter. A system includes automated stoppers and a user device.

Lid assembly and related container for fasteners
A container assembly includes a jar and a lid assembly. The jar includes a body portion defining an interior space for holding items and an upper neck portion disposed about a jar opening leading to the interior space. The lid assembly is connected to the upper neck portion of the jar and includes an inner lid component and an outer lid component. The outer lid component is rotatable relative to the inner lid component while the inner lid component remains stationary relative to the upper neck portion of the jar.

CLOSURE CAPS AND CLOSURES
A cap for a screw-threaded container closure or closure plug includes a cap top and an attachment ring extending axially downward from beneath the bottom surface of the cap top under a central portion of the cap top. The attachment ring is securingly engageable with the container closure or closure plug; the attachment ring comprising a) a cam surface configured to deflect the attachment ring radially inward upon engagement of the attachment ring with the container closure or closure plug and b) an upwardly facing shoulder above the cam surface. The container closure or closure plug comprises a plurality of lugs engageable by a wrench or other drive tool and each having a radially inwardly facing guide surface comprising a downwardly and radially inwardly sloping portion and a downwardly facing shoulder extending radially outward below the downwardly and radially inwardly sloping portion. The upwardly facing shoulder of the attachment ring comprises an inner, radially outwardly extending portion and an outer, upwardly extending lip. The downwardly facing shoulder of each lug comprises a radially extending, radially outer portion and a radially inner, depending lip complementary to the outer, upwardly extending lip. A secure and relatively easy engagement between the cap and container closure or closure plug is thereby obtainable.
