Dental Wedges, Matrix Bands, and Dental Separator Rings for Use in Direct Composite Restoration Techniques
A dental separator ring for use in a dental restoration procedure in a mouth of a patient. The dental separator ring includes a first arm, a second arm, a central portion coupled to both the first arm and the second arm, a first pad coupled to the first arm, the first pad adapted to be positioned on a lingual side of adjacent teeth in the mouth of the patient, and a second pad coupled to the second arm, the second pad adapted to be positioned on a buccal side of the adjacent teeth in the mouth of the patient. The first pad has a first profile and the second pad has a second profile different from the first profile.
DENTAL POLISHING CUP
A dental polishing cup includes a body that defines a cup cavity for holding a dental treatment material, with the cup having an opening at its distal end. A portion of the body includes an enhanced-flexibility band (EFB) situated circumferentially at a certain distance from the distal end, the EFB providing a lesser stiffness of the body than other portions of the body that are situated lengthwise immediately distally and immediately proximately of the EFB.

Interproximal reduction tool and method
An interproximal reduction tool and method preferably includes at least one polishing strip; at least one abrasive wheel; and a low speed and high torque dental electric motor. First, the area between two adjacent teeth is manually polished with the a plurality of polishing strips. The polishing strip is held between a forefinger and thumb and moved in a horizontal plane. Each abrasive wheel preferably includes an abrasive disc and a shaft. The abrasive disc includes a disc base and abrasive material. The abrasive material is adhered to opposing sides of the disc base. It is preferable to have an annular space between an outer edge of the disc base and an outer perimeter of the annular abrasive material. The low speed/high torque motor preferably utilizes an existing dental motor and modifies the dental motor to have a preferable gear reduction of at least 16:1.
DENTAL VENEER METHOD AND SYSTEM
There is disclosed a standardized system for the preparation of an area of a tooth for fitting a dental veneer, and the subsequent installation of the dental veneer onto the tooth, in the prepared area. The system uses a grinding oscillating tip, which is specific for a prefabricated or stock veneer, the prefabricated or stock veneer corresponding to the shape of grinding tip (the tip has the shape of the prefabricated or stock veneer).
COMPOSITE POLISHING STRAND AND METHOD OF USING SAME
A composite polishing strand has a polishing strip for polishing a dental restoration, such as a filling, and may incorporate a floss leader coupled to a polishing strip. The floss leader may be snapped down between teeth and the polishing strip may then be pulled into the interproximal contact area for polishing a dental restoration. A composite polishing strip may also include a threader having an insert end that can be inserted into an interproximal contact area, such as an interproximal subjacent contact area, and pushed through to the opposing side. The threader may then be pulled to locate the polishing strip in the interproximal contact area for polishing the dental restoration. The composite polishing strip having both a threader and floss leader enables two different methods of locating the polishing strip in the interproximal contact area and therefore is very versatile.
METHODS OF MAKING METAL BOND ABRASIVE ARTICLES AND METAL BOND ABRASIVE ARTICLES
Methods of making metal bond abrasive articles via powder bed jetting are disclosed. Metal bond abrasive articles prepared by the method include abrasive articles having arcuate or tortuous cooling channels, abrasive segments, abrasive wheels, and rotary dental tools.
METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR WHITENING TEETH
Compositions and methods for whitening the teeth of a patient or subject include the application of at least one tooth whitening composition to the surface of a stained tooth, accompanied by the application of a sealant composition that forms a protective film or coating on the tooth surface to resist moisture contamination of the oxidizing composition. The whitening procedure can be further enhanced by removal of acquired pellicle from the tooth surface prior to application of oxidizing and sealant compositions. The novel procedure allows for a high degree of tooth whitening by protecting the oxidizing composition while it is in contact with the tooth surface.

MEDICAL DENTAL GRINDING APPARATUS
A medical dental grinding apparatus comprises an apparatus body, wherein an air pipeline, a clamping mechanism, and a grinding mechanism are provided in the apparatus body; the air pipeline includes an air inlet pipeline, an air outlet pipeline, and a U-shaped connection pipeline; a silencer is connected to an upper port of the air outlet pipeline; a plane where the air pipeline is located is perpendicular to a plane where the clamping mechanism is located, and the grinding mechanism is provided below the air pipeline. According to the present invention, the grinding mechanism is driven by high-pressure air in the air pipeline to operate, so that a hidden danger of electric leakage caused by using an electric apparatus in a fragile oral environment is avoided; and a steel wire is fixed by means of the clamping mechanism, so that the grinding safety is ensured.
