20220204221 · 2022-06-30 ·

An apparatus configured for accommodating and dispensing a compound into a container is provided. The apparatus includes a body including an upper end portion, a lower end portion, and an opening defining a volume configured for accommodating the compound. The apparatus includes a lid removably coupled and moveable relative to the upper end portion of the body. The lid includes an upper end portion including an exterior surface and an interior surface. Further, the lid includes a protrusion extending downwardly from the interior surface of the lid by a second length greater than a first length of the body. The protrusion includes a gasket interposing between an inner surface of the body and an outer surface of the protrusion.

CAP AND CONTAINER

A cap configured to be detachably attached to a mouth portion of a container body having a containment space for contents and close the mouth portion, includes: a transparent or semitransparent topped tubular outer lid portion; and a topped tubular inner lid portion located in close contact with an inner side of the outer lid portion so as to be relatively non-rotatable. A retaining protrusion having an inclined surface that is inclined inward in a downward direction and extends to a lower end of the outer lid portion is provided on an inner peripheral surface of the outer lid portion. The retaining protrusion engages with a retaining depression provided on an outer peripheral surface of the inner lid portion, to suppress separation between the outer lid portion and the inner lid portion.

Wine bottle with cork retainer and re-use features

A wine bottle is provided with a punt at a lower end which includes a cork retainer therein. A cork can thus be stored within the cork retainer. In one embodiment, the cork retainer includes two retainer surfaces which are opposing each other horizontally, and spaced apart by a length similar to opposing portions of the cork to allow the cork to fit tightly between these retainer surfaces. Space above the retainer surfaces can hold a foil wrap with the cork within the cork retainer and holding the foil wrap in place. Full re-use of the bottle is thus facilitated. In one embodiment, the bottle has an octagonal shape so that multiple bottles can be shipped together and placed adjacent each other with flat surfaces distributing loads therebetween, without forces concentrated at points thereof, and to keep the bottles in good shape for washing, refilling and re-use.

Bottle-Top Adapter
20220024644 · 2022-01-27 ·

A bottle-top adapter is an apparatus that allows a user to retain a bottle cap for repeated use. The apparatus has a grip that extends beyond the width of the bottle cap retaining features, thus allowing enhanced leverage during use. A writable surface connected to the top of the gripping feature allows a user to indicate the owner and contents of the disposable bottle. A user may place or press a bottle cap into the cap-retaining segment of the apparatus to secure the bottle cap in place during use. The user may then grasp the grip, or other exposed features, and twist to open or close the disposable bottle. Upon completion, the user may remove the bottle cap from the cap-retaining segment of the apparatus to prepare the apparatus for subsequent usage upon another disposable bottle cap. Consequently, the apparatus may help in the reuse of disposable bottle caps.

Container with cap structure

A cap structure may include a base and a cap, where the base may include a periphery configured to be mounted over a rim of an opening of a container. The base may include a hollow neck, extending from the base for facilitating flow of liquid from the container through and out of the neck. The neck may include a flange extending annularly around the neck, so as to define an annular step. The cap may include a plurality of inwardly protruding projections, configured to snap over the step when the cap is mounted over the neck.

STORAGE AND DELIVERY SYSTEMS FOR COLLOIDAL DISPERSIONS

The present disclosure provides methods for stabilizing a colloidal dispersion during transport for low defect tolerance applications. The methods involve eliminating fluid interfaces within a dispersion, storing the dispersion in an environment of inert gas, and degassing the dispersion. Several bottle closure devices are described which may be ideal for use with these methods, being able to seal a container filled with a dispersion, permit the removal of headspace and rapidly empty the contained dispersion. In one aspect, the device includes a vented cap and semi-permeable membrane, which allows the passage of gas into and out of the container, and a dispenser nozzle integrated with the device to allow a stored dispersion to be dispensed without removing the device from the container. In another aspect, the bottle closure device includes an attachment point for a removable downtube and dispenser nozzle.
