Storage and delivery systems for colloidal dispersions
The present disclosure provides methods for stabilizing a colloidal dispersion during transport for low defect tolerance applications. The methods involve eliminating fluid interfaces within a dispersion, storing the dispersion in an environment of inert gas, and degassing the dispersion. Several bottle closure devices are described which may be ideal for use with these methods, being able to seal a container filled with a dispersion, permit the removal of headspace and rapidly empty the contained dispersion. In one aspect, the device includes a vented cap and semi-permeable membrane, which allows the passage of gas into and out of the container, and a dispenser nozzle integrated with the device to allow a stored dispersion to be dispensed without removing the device from the container. In another aspect, the bottle closure device includes an attachment point for a removable downtube and dispenser nozzle.
Reusable Tamper-Evident Cover for Beverage Cans and Bottles
A reusable single-piece tamper-evident cover for protecting a drinking area of a beverage can or bottle before and after removal of the cover from the can or bottle. The cover includes: a cover top, a clasp ring positioned below and contiguous with the cover top, and a skirt being positioned below and contiguous with the ring. The ring includes at least one tamper-evident seal that includes two tear lines. The tear lines do not extend to the inner cover surface. Tearing along the tear lines results in tampering the seal, and does not tear the inner cover surface. An entirety of the inner cover surface is able to be continuous when the skirt extends along an entirety of the ring, as well as after removal of the cover from the can or bottle.

Container Cap and Compounds
A cap for accommodating a compound includes a body with an opening. The opening penetrates from an upper to a lower end portion of the body by a first length. A membrane seals a lower end portion of the opening. A lid is removably coupled and moveable relative to the body. The lid includes a protrusion extending downwardly from an interior surface of the lid by a second length greater than the first length. The opening accommodates a lower end portion of the protrusion. A spacer removably couples with the lid and interposes between the lid and the body. The spacer configurable between a first state in which the spacer is engaged with the lid, which prevents the protrusion from penetrating the membrane, and a second state in which the spacer is disengaged with the lid, which allows the protrusion of the lid to penetrate the membrane of the body.

Container Closure With Compartment
The present disclosure is directed to a container assembly including a container sealed by a closure. The container has a main chamber in which a highly nutritive liquid food product can be filled and stored aseptically or through retort processing. The closure includes a separate chamber in which a supplement sensitive to thermal processing of the liquid food product can be filled and stored. The container assembly permits the closure filled with the supplement to be attached to the container after severe thermal processing conditions have subsided, and permits the supplement to be conveniently and hygienically mixed with the liquid food product immediately prior to use.

Paint tester
Paint tester and methods of testing paint using the paint tester. The paint tester having a sealed receptacle containing paint, a foam applicator, and a seal cutter. The methods comprising rotating the seal cutter with respect to the receptacle until one or more teeth will cut into and break a seal on the receptacle, applying inward pressure to an exterior surface of a receptacle wall causing paint to flow from the receptacle through a channel exit of the receptacle, through a conduit defined in the seal cutter, out a conduit exit encircled by crenulations, through pores in the applicator, and onto an exterior surface of the applicator, and touching the exterior surface of the applicator to a surface upon which paint is desired.
