A safety closure for or on a container with a media supply line is described. The safety closure comprises: a lid which is actuated in particular mechanically for closing the container; a shut-off device for shutting off the media supply line; a pivoting lever with an actuating arm for pressing on the lid and with an in particular opposite first locking element; and a second locking element which is drive-coupled to the shut-off device and, which as a stop for the first locking element, being selectively operative when the shut-off device is open, is configured such that the lid can not be opened. Accidentally opening the lid when the container is spray rinsed can thereby be prevented in a simple and reliable manner.

A container is provided. The container comprises a cover, a base, and a body, which includes one or more spine structures and one or more door panels which may open and allow substantially lateral access to the interior of the container. The one or more door panels may be secured in a closed position by a latch mechanism. In a first mode, the latch mechanism is not released. In a second mode, the latch mechanism is released. The first mode and the second mode may operate concurrently and can be accessed separately via different mechanisms. A switch mechanism may alternate between the first mode and the second mode. Alternatively, a pedal includes a first pedal mechanism corresponding to the first mode and a second pedal mechanism corresponding to the second mode.

A beverage container closure or lid that is adapted for closing an open end of a beverage container. The lid is selectively couplable to the beverage container and includes a selectively openable stopper that when closed, creates a fluid-tight seal between the beverage container and the environment. The stopper may be selectively opened by a user by the user pressing a button disposed on a side of the beverage container closure. The stopper is subsequently automatically closed when the user releases the button. Thus, a user may open and close the beverage container closure using a single hand without the need to remove the beverage container closure from the beverage container.

A beverage container closure or lid that is adapted for closing an open end of a beverage container. The lid is selectively couplable to the beverage container and includes a selectively openable stopper that when closed, creates a fluid-tight seal between the beverage container and the environment. The stopper may be selectively opened by a user by the user pressing a button disposed on a side of the beverage container closure. The stopper is subsequently automatically closed when the user releases the button. Thus, a user may open and close the beverage container closure using a single hand without the need to remove the beverage container closure from the beverage container.

A container includes a recessed “one touch” mechanism positioned about the top surface of the lid (101,201,301,401,505,605). The lid (101,201,301,401,50 5,605) has a recessed area configured to house a handle (213,313,413,501,601). The handle (213,313,413,501,601) has a top surface configured to fit in the recessed area and is connected to a shank (513,613) engaged with a chamber (511,611) by way of a spring (801), wherein the handle (213,313,413,501,601) is in a first position with the recessed area when force is applied to the top surface of the handle (213,313,413,501,601), and the handle (213,313,413,501,601) is in a second position exterior to a surface of the lid (101,201,301,401,505,605) when the force is removed from the top surface of the handle (213,313,413,501,601) so that it is convenient for the user to lift the lid (101,201,301,40 1,505,605) without using both hands and leaving unwanted fingerprints on the lid (101,201,301,401,505,605).

A container includes a recessed “one touch” mechanism positioned about the top surface of the lid (101,201,301,401,505,605). The lid (101,201,301,401,50 5,605) has a recessed area configured to house a handle (213,313,413,501,601). The handle (213,313,413,501,601) has a top surface configured to fit in the recessed area and is connected to a shank (513,613) engaged with a chamber (511,611) by way of a spring (801), wherein the handle (213,313,413,501,601) is in a first position with the recessed area when force is applied to the top surface of the handle (213,313,413,501,601), and the handle (213,313,413,501,601) is in a second position exterior to a surface of the lid (101,201,301,401,505,605) when the force is removed from the top surface of the handle (213,313,413,501,601) so that it is convenient for the user to lift the lid (101,201,301,40 1,505,605) without using both hands and leaving unwanted fingerprints on the lid (101,201,301,401,505,605).

A convenient lid includes a housing, a lid opening, a press plate, a button, an insertion plate, a guide plate and a threaded body, the lid opening and the threaded body are provided on the lower part of the housing, the side of the lid is provided with a first concave cavity, a fixing body and a guide column are provided in the first concave cavity, a switch device and a security device are provided on the fixing body and the guide column, a guide plate, an insertion plate and a press plate are provided inside the lid, a concave ring and a guide strip are provided on the outside of the lid opening, a convex ring, a guide slot and a latch are provided on the inner side of the threaded body, ribs and threads are provided on the outer side of the threaded body.

A convenient lid includes a housing, a lid opening, a press plate, a button, an insertion plate, a guide plate and a threaded body, the lid opening and the threaded body are provided on the lower part of the housing, the side of the lid is provided with a first concave cavity, a fixing body and a guide column are provided in the first concave cavity, a switch device and a security device are provided on the fixing body and the guide column, a guide plate, an insertion plate and a press plate are provided inside the lid, a concave ring and a guide strip are provided on the outside of the lid opening, a convex ring, a guide slot and a latch are provided on the inner side of the threaded body, ribs and threads are provided on the outer side of the threaded body.

A container has a lid that is removably attachable to the container and configured to cover an opening of the container when attached to the container. The lid has a body with a top that extends away from the container when the lid covers the opening of the container, and a bottom which is opposite the top. The body has an arm with an actuator portion and an extension. The actuator portion is configured to move the arm between a retracted position and an extended position relative to the body. When the arm is in the retracted position relative to the body, the extension is at first distance from the top of the body. When the arm is in the extended position relative to the body, the extension is at a second distance from the top of the body which is greater than the first distance.

A disposable container is disclosed that includes a lid, a frontward facing sidewall portion, a rearward facing sidewall portion that is opposite the frontward facing sidewall portion, a first foldable sidewall portion, a second foldable sidewall portion that is opposite the first foldable sidewall portion, a pedal, wherein the pedal is rotatably coupled to the frontward facing portion, a hinge mechanism, wherein the hinge mechanism is rotatably coupled to the lid and the rearward facing sidewall portion, and two or more lines that each have a first line end and a second line end, wherein the first line end of each of the two or more lines is coupled to the pedal and the second line end of each of the two or more lines is coupled to the hinge mechanism.
