GINGIVAL RETRACTOR INSTRUMENT
An improved dental instrument is provided for facilitated placement of gingival retraction cord into the gingival crevice surrounding a tooth. The instrument includes a curved edge designed to conform to the curvature of a root surface of a tooth at the gingival level. The gingival retraction cord can thus be placed quickly and easily without significant risk of damage to periodontal attachment tissue at the base of the gingival crevice.
REINFORCED GINGIVAL RETRACTION CORD
A dental retraction elongated member, for example, a retraction cord, for placement between a tooth and its adjacent gum tissue during dental impression taking and restorative procedures includes a core coated with a thermoplastic material so that the retraction cord is resistant to shredding, tearing, and sticking to dental restorative and impression taking materials.
Dental devices and systems and methods for making the same
Dental devices and systems and methods for making the same are provided. In at least one embodiment, a method for fabricating an arch-shaped device for coupling to a patient's mouth is provided. The method can include disposing each of a plurality of teeth into respective teeth receptors of an inlay device, positioning the inlay device in a recess of a lower portion of a mold device, and coupling the lower portion to an upper portion of the mold device to sandwich the inlay device therebetween. The method can also include injecting a base compound into an injection hole of the mold device, and processing the base compound to integrate the base compound with the plurality of teeth.
Multi-Functional Dental Tool
A multi-functional dental tool is provided which may be used for the dental filling of teeth after the removal of damage in the teeth. The dental tool comprises a forcep portion on one end and a burnisher tool on the other end. The burnisher tool portion comprises a flat burnisher and a ball burnisher, and a joint which connects the forcep portion and the burnisher tool portion. In an alternate embodiment, the dental tool comprises a penlight holder which can receive and secure a penlight, which provides illumination when performing the filling procedure, especially in situations in which an overhead light source is not readily available.

Dental dispensing tip
A dental dispensing tip includes a body having a first body end, a second body end, and a fluid passageway extending between the first and second body ends. A brush cup is provided at the second body end and has a brush barrel defined therein. A brush applicator is secured within the brush barrel and includes a plurality of bristles, wherein a first end of the brush applicator is received within the brush barrel and a second end of the brush applicator extends out of the brush barrel. A delivery cannula is in fluid communication with the fluid passageway and has a bent end entering the plurality of bristles at an intermediate location between the first and second ends to deliver the dental solution to the plurality of bristles.
Dissimilar material affixment apparatus, composition, and method
An apparatus, composition, and method for affixment of dissimilar materials, that includes a ceramic longwise member having a distal portion and a proximal portion that has a pilot, also included is a steel receptacle including primary and secondary voids that are co-axial and in communication with one another. The longwise member pilot is received in the primary void with the remainder of the proximal portion having an open gap within the secondary void, wherein adhesive is disposed within the open gap and the distal portion projects beyond the receptacle. Operationally, resulting in the longwise member and the receptacle resisting a separating force apart from one another.

DENTAL HAND TOOL
The dental hand tool is arranged with a handle comprising at least a connector and a coupling member at one end thereof. The dental hand tool is in particular provided with a second connector and a second coupling member at the other end of the handle. A modeling tip (30) is provided that comprises a shaft and that is suitable for the coupling member. The modeling tip comprises a coating of a material that is more flexible compared to the remaining material of the modeling tip. In particular, the material has a smaller surface energy compared to the remaining material of the modeling tip.
