Sterilization packaging systems

Sterilization packaging systems with features for sealing a volume against an ingress of contaminants are provided. Such features include a frame including a plurality of vertical members and a plurality of horizontal members, each vertical member and horizontal member having an inner side and an outer side; a sterilization wrap, a first portion of the sterilization wrap positioned adjacent the inner side of each vertical member and each horizontal member to define a volume and an opening to access the volume; and a lid for sealing the volume against an ingress of contaminants. Additionally, a sterility gauge for signaling whether the volume is sealed against contaminants also may be provided. Exemplary sterilization packaging systems may include other features as well.

A beverage system is provided that includes a cup having a frustoconical wall extending from a first end to a second end. The first end is coupled to a bottom wall and the second end defines a rim. Inner surfaces of the walls define a cavity. The rim defines an opening that is in communication with the cavity. A lid is coupled to the rim such that the lid covers at least a portion of the opening. A sleeve includes a collar that surrounds a portion of the frustoconical wall. The sleeve includes first and second arms. The arms each include a first end coupled to the collar and an opposite second end. The second end of the first arm directly engages the lid. The second end of the second arm directly engages the second end of the first arm when the second end of the first arm directly engages the lid to prevent the lid from being removed from the cup.

Lid assembly for a container

Provided is a lid assembly for a container. The lid assembly includes a lid formed of a first material and a seal formed of a second material and being integrally formed with the lid. The lid can be attached to the container such that a radially outwardly extending flexible lip of the seal compresses against an inner surface of the container to seal the lid assembly to the container.

Multipart cover made of paper and method for producing a cover

A multipart cover made of paper material and including a base body having a cover plate and a circumferential cover collar extending from the cover plate, wherein the cover collar, in a condition where same is placed onto a vessel to be closed, surrounds an upper rim of a vessel to be closed, and a reinforcement ring surrounds the cover collar at least sectionally on the radially exterior side of the cover collar. The cover collar includes at least one bead encircling the cover collar in the circumferential direction, and when viewed in the elevation direction the bead is disposed at a constant distance from the cover plate.

A closure is provided for a pressure vessel or pipelines that can provide quick and easy access to the interior of a pressure vessel or pipeline and means for a pressure tight seal between the hub and door. The closure can incorporate means for mechanically fastening the door to the hub using an external split clamp ring actuated by a toggle mechanism. A locking mechanism can be provided to safeguard against unintended closure actuation and provides a layer of redundancy to the holding characteristics of the toggle mechanism. The locking mechanism can be interlocked to a pressure alert system to ensure any differential pressure condition contained within the closure is detected prior to disengaging the locking mechanism and actuating the toggle mechanism.

Plugging-type resin cap

Provided is a plugging-type resin cap which can sufficiently seal a container and in which, upon uncapping of the container, a restraining band loosens after the pressure in the container is released without the application of an excessive force. A plugging-type resin cap (100) includes a restraining band (130), a tab (140), and engagement projections (151). The restraining band (130) has an arcuate restraining portion (131), stoppers (132), and an upwardly projecting portion (133). The stoppers (132) are formed to extend radially outward from the circumferential both ends of the restraining portion (131). The engagement projections (151) are disposed over an outer side surface of a skirt wall (120) in the vicinity of the circumferential both ends of a tab (140). The stoppers (132) and the engagement projections (151) are formed to be fittable with each other.
