Dispensing closure for a container
A dispensing closure (40) for use with a container (44) includes a body (54) having a dispensing spout (72) with an interior surface (80) that defines at least a portion of a passage (132) for communicating with the container interior to permit the flow of a fluent substance through the body (54). The dispensing closure (40) includes a closing element (56) attached to the body (54). The closing element (56) defines a transverse cover (130) having a closed position relative to the body (54) and an actuated, open position relative to the body (54). The transverse cover (130) has an outwardly projecting toggle tab (58) for being engaged by a user to move the transverse cover (130) from the closed position to the actuated, open position. The transverse cover (130) further has a flexible, resilient cantilevered sealing portion (142) that seals against the interior surface (80) of the dispensing spout (72) with the transverse cover (130) located in the closed position.

Drip-free glass bottles having a circumferential channel and methods of making and using such bottles
Described herein is a glass bottle configured to improve the mechanics of liquid flow and prevent drip initiation. Additionally, the glass bottle eliminates dripping during pouring to enable drip-free pouring. The dripping is prevented over a full range of pouring angles, which vary depending on the amount of liquid held in the glass bottle. A method of making the glass bottle and a method of enabling drip-free pouring using the glass bottle are also disclosed.

RETAINING MEMBER AND INSULATING VESSEL INCORPORATING SAME
A retaining member for use with a vacuum-insulated vessel is described. The retaining member may include a body and a deformable member. The deformable member may have a first layer and a second layer extending from the first layer to a resilient end of the second layer. The resilient end of the second layer may define an opening of the second layer and the opening of the second layer may be aligned with a first aperture of the body and a second aperture of the body, to receive and securely hold a bottle such as a wine bottle within the opening, the first aperture, and the second aperture. The second layer may be resiliently flexible between a first position and a second position of a peripheral edge of the resilient end, to receive and retain bottles having various sizes.
TEXTURED LID FOR A DRINKING CONTAINER
A drinking container assembly can include a reservoir for storing a liquid, a substantially smooth textured drinking apparatus configured to channel the liquid, and a textured surface adjacent to the drinking apparatus.

Container/bottle and cap with two spouts
The first embodiment of the current invention discloses a container/bottle (1) with a large spout (4) and a small spout (5) for pouring a liquid, powder or granular solid with minimal spilling or dripping. The second embodiment discloses a cap (9) with two spouts, and the third embodiment discloses an insertable spout unit (10) with two spouts.
Spittoon with sealing lid
A portable spittoon may be a single use item which has a pivoting closed lid for at least some embodiments. Some embodiments may have internal structure(s) to resist spilling and/or emptying the contents while accepting new fluid/material therein until satisfactorily full. Opposing arms may connect to a lid which pivots about a pivot axis through pivots connected to the arms.
