Container having a head piece, which container can be or is filled with a medium
A container has a head piece (7). The container can be or is filled with a medium and is produced of plastic materials using a blow molding, filling, and sealing method. A transition region (13) is between the container (1) and a first type of a head surface (11) arranged on the head piece (7) at an end face, can be penetrated by a piercing or cutting part and extends with a specifiable curvature. A second type of a head surface (41) has a specifiable curvature, which is the same as the curvature of the head surface (39) of the first type, but preferably is different from it and is present on the head piece (7). The head surfaces transition into each other such that a whole surface is formed, which whole surface spans the free end of the transition region (13) directed away from the container (1). The head piece (7) is an integral component of the container (1).
Sealing cap for a container for holding a medical liquid
A sealing cap for a container for holding a medical liquid comprises a cap body and a connection device having a sealing element arranged on the cap body. The sealing element is arranged at the opening and is retained in the cap body in a clamped manner by a, preferably annular, flanged rim. The connection device has a break-off piece, which is firmly connected to the cap body and covers an outer face of the sealing element in the outward direction. The break-off piece is integral with the cap body, is connected to the cap body by a predetermined breaking point where the break-off piece can be detached from the cap body. The sealing element outer face is substantially flat and is accessible for wiping to provide a sealing cap having a sealing element arranged that can be simply and reliably disinfected.
METHOD FOR STERILIZING WATER-FILLED DEVICES
The present disclosure relates to a method of steam-sterilizing liquid-filled medical devices, e.g., filtration and/or diffusion devices like ultrafilters and capillary dialyzers.
Plastic cap and production method thereof
Disclosed is a plastic cap useful for steadfastly maintaining a sealed state created in a container having a mouth with an opening by sealing the opening with a sealing member. The cap has a cap main body and a cover portion integrated with the main body via at least one bridge portion. The main body has a base portion and a top wall. The bridge portion is formed of a synthetic plastic filled in at least one fusion-bonding hole having a diameter of from 0.3 to 3 mm and arranged extending through at least one, preferably one of the main body or cover portion such that the main body and cover portion are integrally fusion-bonded by the bridge portion and the cover portion can be separated from the main body by breaking the bridge portion with hands. A production method of the plastic cap is also disclosed.
APPARATUS FOR CUSTOMIZED PRODUCTION OF A FLAVORING AGENT MIX
Apparatus (100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600) for customized production of a flavoring agent, the apparatus too, (200, 300, 400, 500, 600) comprising: a retainer (110, 210, 310, 610) for retaining at least two containers (10), each container (10) comprising a respective flavoring agent; a collecting and dispensing unit, e g a manipulator (120, 220, 320), for collecting and dispensing flavoring agents; a mixer (130, 230, 330) for mixing flavoring agents for obtaining a new flavoring agent; a control-unit (140) for controlling at least the collecting and dispensing unit (120, 220, 320) and the mixer (130, 230, 330), and a communication unit for communicating with a remote server (41) and/or remote device 20, wherein the control-unit (140) is configured such that the collecting and dispensing unit (120, 220, 320) collects and dispenses a first defined amount of flavoring agent from a first container (10) to the mixer (130, 230, 330), the collecting and dispensing unit (120, 220, 320) collects and dispenses a second defined amount of flavoring agent from a second container (10) to the mixer (130, 230, 330), and the mixer (130, 230, 330) mixes the first and second defined amount of flavoring agents inside of the mixer (130, 230, 330) for producing the new flavoring agent. The invention further relates to a system with such an apparatus, a corresponding process as well as to a container for such an apparatus, system and process.
METHOD FOR REDUCING MICROBIOLOGICAL CONTAMINATION
A method for reducing microbiological contamination in a closed chamber (6), formed by at least two interconnected components (1, 4), by introducing a germicidal medium into the chamber (6).
Closure device
A closure device for closing a container is provided. The closure device (10) includes a ring (28), a cover (30) and a cap (32). The ring has a top wall (34) and a flexible skirt (36) extending downwardly from the top wall. The flexible skirt includes a plurality of spaced-apart first legs (40) and a plurality of spaced-apart second legs (42) arranged in an alternating manner. Each of the first and second legs has a first end at the top wall and an opposing second end. The first legs are different from the second legs. An interior surface of each first leg has a first inwardly protruding ledge (44) between the first and second ends. Each second leg has a second inwardly protruding ledge (48) at the second end. An interior surface of each second leg has a flexible tongue (50) and a recess (52) configured to receive the flexible tongue. The tongues are adapted to retain an elastomer stopper (14).
Two-part dispensing closure system with internal seal and methods of using the same
A dispensing closure system includes an upper closure portion and a lower closure portion including an axial flow conduit and a vent conduit. The upper closure portion is axially movable relative to lower closure portion between shipping and dispensing positions. A seal is disposed on the lower closure portion over the flow and vent conduits. A peripheral spacing strip is removably secured to the upper closure portion and engages with either the lower closure or the outside of the container to prevent movement. A piercing probe includes piercing elements in alignment with the flow and vent conduits for piercing the seal. In the shipping position, the piercing elements are spaced from the seal. However, when the spacing strip is removed and the upper closure portion is axially moved to the dispensing position, the piercing elements pierce the seal to open the flow conduit and the vent conduit.
