Method of storing a vaccine containing an aluminum adjuvant

The invention relates to a method for loading and storing a vaccine composition, containing the antigen adsorbed on the aluminum adjuvant which (a) comprises (i) loading the composition into a container; and (ii) closing the container with a device in particular acting as a stopper, the surface of the device getting into contact with the composition being coated with a fluoropolymer such as Teflon? and/or (b) loading the composition into a container wherein the inner surface of which is coated with polymerized silicone. The use of fluoropolymer or polymerized silicone optimizes the adsorbed antigen stability upon storage. In a particular embodiment, the antigen is the hepatitis B surface antigen and the aluminum adjuvant is aluminum oxy hydroxide.

Closure with liner

A closure for a container is provided with a top portion and a skirt depending from an outer periphery of the top portion. A generally circular rim extends downwards from the lower surface of the top portion. A liner is attached to the closure between an outer surface of the rim and an inner surface of the skirt. The liner is configured to provide a fluid tight seal for containers having varied neck dimensions and/or profiles. One or more projections extend into a space formed between the lower surface of the top portion, an inner surface of the skirt, and an outer surface of the rim, with the liner enveloping and being supported in the closure by the one or more projections.

A pull-tab sealing member for a container containing an upper laminate forming a pull-tab bonded to a lower laminate capable of being heat sealed to a container's mouth or opening. The upper laminate defines the pull tab wholly within a perimeter or circumference of the seal. The sealing member further includes a sub tab layer or member under the gripping tab for concentric structural support.

Anti-skinning container interior portion

An interior portion of a container (e.g., a lid portion, a base portion, etc.) includes one or more walls of a body of material (e.g., in a hexagonal configuration, a spiral configuration, a concentric circular configuration, etc.) that define one or more reservoirs. The one or more reservoirs are open to receive fluid composition therein (e.g., when the lid is positioned to close the container).

A cap can be configured to engage with cosmetic application devices (also referred to as applicators or cosmetic implements) of various sizes. The cap may include a rigid housing and a flexible body within the rigid housing comprised of elastic material. The flexible body includes a cavity that extends from an opening in the proximal end portion toward the distal end portion of the cap and varies in diameter along its length. The cap may receive an application segment of an applicator through the opening, and the inner surface of the cap can apply pressure to a surface of the applicator to form a seal between the applicator and the cap. The seal between the applicator and the cap protects the application segment from dust and debris and prevents fluid in the applicator segment from drying or hardening.
