Beverage System Including A Removable Piercer
Apparatuses related to a beverage system. The system includes a piercing apparatus that includes an inner ring composed of a rigid material and an outer ring composed of a flexible material that encompasses the inner ring. The outer ring has an upper portion disposed above the inner ring that has a greater range of motion than the outer ring that encompasses the inner ring. The piercing apparatus further includes a piercer composed of a rigid material that is connected to the inner ring by a plurality of arms that radially extend from the piercer to the inner ring. The plurality of arms define a plurality of openings between the arms. The outer ring includes a protrusion that circumferentially protrudes outward from an outer surface of the outer ring.

Cap for closing a container and its method for making the cap
A cap for a container is provided and a related method for making the cap. The cap comprises a side wall extending about an axis and a transversal wall arranged at an end of the side wall, a separation line being provided on the side wall for defining: a retaining ring, which is intended to remain anchored to a neck of the container and is configured to internally engage with an enlargement of the neck; and a closure element which can removably engage the neck, so as to open or close the container. The separation line extends about the axis and is circumferentially interrupted so as to leave a joining portion, between the retaining ring and the closure element, which extends circumferentially for a respective angle, the cap further having an incision line which extends transversally to the axis between the separation line and a free edge of the retaining ring, so that two connecting bands are defined between the separation line and the incision line, the two connecting bands joining the retaining ring to the joining portion. The connecting bands are deformable and the joining portion is externally provided with a projection which projects from the joining portion and is positioned between a separation plane in which the separation line lies and the incision line so that, when the closure element is in the open position and the connecting bands keep the closure element connected to the retaining ring, an edge of the joining portion which, in the closed position, faces the retaining ring, is facing, in the open position, towards a rim of the neck and the projection is resting on the neck in said open position.

Tamper evident flip-top closure, method and tool for making the same
A closure is provided for a container. The closure includes a base having a substantially cylindrical shape with a recessed area along a top perimeter of the base. The closure also includes a lid configured to close over and open off of the base. The closure further includes a tab that extends from a lower surface of the lid and includes a lip portion configured to fold back onto the tab and lock with the base when the lid is closed over the base. The tab detaches from the lid when opening the lid from the base after the lip portion is folded back onto the tab. A portion of the outer surface of the tab is visible through the at least one recessed area after the lid is closed over the base and remains partially visible after the tab has detached from the lid.

SINGLE ANCHOR CLOSURE
A closure includes a closure portion defining a closure top wall and a closure side wall extending from closure top wall. The closure portion is configured to be removed from a finish portion of the container by rotatably disengaging from threads of the finish portion. A tamper evidence band configured to remain engaged with the finish portion when the closure portion is removed from the finish portion. A multiplicity of thin connections attaching the tamper evidence band to the closure portion. The thin connections configured to break apart when the closure portion is removed from the container. An anchor extending from the closure portion to the tamper evidence band. The anchor configured to keep the closure portion attached to the tamper evidence band when the closure portion is removed from the container.
MEMORY DEVICE HAVING FIRST AND SECOND PARTS
A memory device includes first and second parts. The first part includes a plug receiver configured for reception of a plug and a head coupled to the plug receiver. The second part includes a cap end and a dummy socket coupled to the cap end. The dummy socket includes a first portion insertible into the plug receiver and a second portion configured for reception of the head. The cap end is configured for placement thereon of a cap, which is disposable over the plug.
COVER ASSEMBLY AND ACTUATOR FOR INHALER
An actuator (100) for an inhaler includes a sleeve (106) having a first end (102) and a second end (104). The sleeve is substantially hollow and defines a longitudinal axis (110) along its length. A base (108) is formed at the first end of the sleeve. A mouthpiece (112) is joined to the sleeve and the base. The mouthpiece is substantially hollow and defines a delivery opening (114). The actuator includes a cover (116) removably attached to the mouthpiece for covering the delivery opening. The actuator further includes a retaining member for retaining the cover to the sleeve upon removal of the cover from the mouthpiece. The retaining member includes a ring (120) disposed around the sleeve. The ring is at least selectively rotatable about the longitudinal axis and slidable along the longitudinal axis relative to the sleeve. The retaining member further includes a strap (122) extending from the ring and attached to the cover.
