Polymer film for the conditioning of oil extraction pipes
The invention relates to an assembly comprising: an oil extraction pipe (4) having a thread; and a protector (1) for the thread of the extraction pipe (4), said protector (1) including a body and a thread complementary to that of the extraction pipe (4). The assembly is characterised in that it also comprises an elastomer film (60) affixed to the protector and designed to form a sealed connection between the extraction pipe (4) and the protector (1) when the protector (1) is positioned on the extraction pipe (4).

Method for assembling an end-piece of a flexible pipe and associated pre-assembly
A method including the following steps: placing a rear locking collar (62) around an outer ply (25), placing a first shaping guide (82) for shaping the folding of the end segments (32) of the outer ply (25); folding the end segments (32) of the outer ply (25) rearwards, folding the end segments (32) of an inner ply (24) rearwards. Before the step for folding the end segments (32) of the inner ply (24) rearwards, a second shaping guide (84) is placed for shaping the folding of the end segments (32) of the inner ply (24), a second shaping guide (84) being separate from the first shaping guide (82), the end segments (32) of the inner ply (24) bearing on the second shaping guide (84) after the folding step.

Brush holder
A container may be provided with an open-ended cylinder for use in storage and carrying of the brushes in combination with a cup that supports the handles of the brushes during display and/or use or the brushes. The cup and the sheath are releasably couplable to carry the elongate items within the cup and sheath. The container may include first and second caps, each cap defining a first open end configured to fit over one of the open ends of the sheath to maintain the coupling of the cup and sheath.

End seal structure of a fuel rail for a gasoline direct injection engine
Provided is an end seal structure of a fuel rail for a gasoline direct injection engine, the end seal structure being characterized in that: a collar is joined by brazing to an outer circumference of an end of a pipe of the rail body including a pipe; the end cap having a cap-nut shape and including a sealing projection on an surface thereof facing the opening at the end of the pipe of the rail body, is screwed and fixed to the collar; and the sealing projection of the end cap brings into pressure contact with the end of the opening of the rail body by an axial force created by tightening of the end cap having the cap-nut shape to seal the end of the opening of the rail body.
Tamper-evident sealing device for wells
A tamper-evident sealing device for use with a ground well (such as, for example, a water well, gas well, oil well, or the like) has been developed which takes the form of a UV-resistant, micro-perforated polymer plastic device that can be easily sealed over a well cap by applying heat. Should an unauthorized individual attempt to gain access to the well, he/she will necessarily have to break through the sealed, ventilated plastic layer, thus leaving behind indications of the tampering. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, a conventional well cap as used in prior art well structures remains in place, with the plastic protective covering of the present invention sealed directly over the cap.

UNIVERSAL THREAD PROTECTOR
A universal thread protector is provided for protecting either of the pin and box ends of a pipe. The thread protector has a cap with an open end the closed end. A seal element is positioned within and adjacent to the open end of the cap. A ring member is positioned against the seal element between the seal element and the closed end of the cap. Bolts are provided having an end positioned against the ring member. The bolts are movable from an unactuated position to an actuated position wherein the bolt applies a force against the ring member when in the actuated position. As such, the ring member pushes against the seal element so as to deform or compress the seal element against the outer diameter of the pipe positioned within the cap. A method of protecting the threaded ends of pipe is also disclosed.
