20250207714 · 2025-06-26 · ·

There is provided a pipe thread protector according to a first aspect. The pipe thread protector includes a tubular body shaped to protect a threaded end portion of a pipe or a pipe coupling. The tubular body includes an inner portion with a first of right-handed and left-handed threading. The tubular body includes an outer portion with a second of right-handed and left-handed threading. The pipe thread protector includes an end member. The end member includes the second of right-handed and left-handed threading via which the end member threadably couples to the outer portion of the tubular body. The pipe thread protector includes a locking member with a first position in which removal of the end member from the tubular body is inhibited. The locking member is moveable from the first position thereof to a second position in which the end member is selectively removable from the tubular body.

Tube end closure

According to one aspect, a non-roll end sleeve is configured to be disposed on a seamless cylindrical paper tube, said non-roll sleeve having a rectangular cross-section perpendicular to a central axis of the cylindrical paper tube when disposed on the cylindrical paper tube. According to another aspect, a container includes a seamless paper tube having at least one end provided with a shape in cross-section generally having N sides, where N is an integer selected from 3 to 8, which at least one end is closed by flaps of material between openings cut into the at least one end that have been folded inwardly and secured in place to form an end closure.

WELLBORE PIPE PROTECTION DEVICE

A wellbore pipe protection device (1) for protecting a wellbore pipe end (2) comprises a circumferential protection wall (3), having a circumferential inner recess (11), which contains a solid elastic ring (15) and a hollow clastic ring (16). In a locked mounted condition of the protection device to a wellbore pipe end, at least part of the solid elastic ring (15) is extending in a shallowing circumferential recess portion (12) of the inner recess (11). The protection device further comprises an annular release tool (17). The invention provides for automatical locking of a manually mounted protection device and at the same time allows for a simple design of a wellbore pipe protection device, so that the protection device can be produced cheaper.

LOCKING CAP FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT CONNECTIONS

A locking cap may be selectively locked into place within a tubular opening, such as the open end of a standpipe used to charge a building sprinkler system. The locking cap may have a plug portion. A friction load can be used to limit the unauthorized removal of the plug portion.

A vehicle driveshaft assembly includes a first driveshaft axle and a first cap. The first driveshaft axle has a transaxle end for being installed to a vehicle transaxle. The first driveshaft axle having a wheel end for being installed to a first vehicle wheel. The first driveshaft axle further has a constant velocity joint disposed between the transaxle end and the wheel end. The first cap is provided over the transaxle end. The first cap has a corrugated portion that is compressible so that the first cap moves between a non-compressed state and a compressed state as the transaxle end is inserted into the vehicle transaxle.
