A package comprises a container and a wrapper of flexible multi-layer laminate sheet material surrounding the container. The wrapper comprises a first layer and a second layer outside the first layer. A first cut line in the first layer defines a first region of the first layer which overlies a lid of the container. A second cut line in the second layer is offset from the first cut line. The second cut line defines a second region of the second layer. The second region overlies the lid and includes a peripheral portion where the second layer extends beyond the lid. The peripheral portion of the second layer is separable from the first layer and can be used to lift the lid into the open position. The peripheral portion can be resealed against the first layer.

A noise-quieting cover reduces the noise caused by rolling a container with wheels made of plastic or other hard material across a surface. The noise-quieting cover further dampens the vibrations caused by rolling the container across a surface, making transportation of the container more comfortable. The noise-quieting cover has a tread with a thickness to effectively dampen noise and vibration. The cover also has sidewalls with areas large enough to keep the cover in place over the wheel. Grip tabs may also be included which may assist the user in stretching the cover over a wheel, assist in making small adjustments to perfectly place the cover over a wheel, and assist in removing the cover from the wheel.

The layers of material are adapted to be rolled into a wrapped position for transportation, wherein at least one layer of material has a non-slip surface. The storage device also includes a partially rigid device that is disposed between the layers of material. The partially rigid device defines a flat area under a portion of the non-slip surface for placement of objects when the storage device is in an unwrapped position.
