Dental tool assembly
A handling device for a dental tool having a) a body having an elongated shape configured to receive a prying load from an operator; and b) one or more receptacles through the body configured to retain at least a portion of a dental tool and allow an engagement portion of the dental tool to project therefrom substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the body; wherein the engagement portion is adapted to contact a portion of a dental covering along only one of a facial side or a lingual side of the dental covering and by being wedged between a gum-line and the dental covering; and wherein the one or more receptacles are configured to transfer the prying load from the body to the engagement portion of the dental tool.
Vibrating crown and bridge remover
A dental crown removal apparatus is provided, including a handle for placement in an operator's hand, an elongated post projecting along a first axis, the post being connected for reciprocal motion with respect to the handle, a motor in the handle for moving the post, a tool adapter connected with the post opposite the handle, the tool adapter having an extension arm extending away from the handle with a pivot arm connected with the extension arm and spaced from the handle, and first and second opposing jaws having claw ends spring biased together, the first and second jaws having independent and unitary pivotal connection with the pivot arm.
FIXED HYBRID DENTAL ATTACHMENT ASSEMBLY AND METHODS OF USE
A frictionally-retained detachable dental attachment assembly or anchor device is designed to attach a dental appliance with a tooth root or implant. The assembly includes a denture attachment housing for securing in the dental appliance, an abutment attached with a tooth root or implant, and a compressible retention member with a first end in fixed attachment with the cap and a second end in snap engagement with the abutment via a frictionally-retained ball secured within a cavity of the abutment. The retention member is formed using a compressible material to allow the ball to compress and the retention member to flex while inserting the ball into the cavity. Additional friction-retained and fixed attachment configurations of the dental anchor device are provided, along with methods of securing a dental appliance in a subject's mouth by means of the friction-retained and fixed attachment dental anchor devices.
Apparatus for removing dental appliance and dental system
An apparatus for removing a dental appliance can include a body having a perimeter and a pry lip extending from the perimeter of the body. The pry lip includes a terminal ridge surface and an inclined surface disposed between the terminal ridge surface and the perimeter of the body. The apparatus for removing a dental appliance can be incorporated in a dental system which includes a dental appliance and the apparatus for removing a dental appliance. The apparatus for removing a dental appliance can be configured such that it fits within an area defined by an outer edge of the dental appliance. Thus, the dental appliance and the apparatus for removing the dental appliance can be stored within a dental appliance container with an internal cavity that closely conforms to the shape and size of the dental appliance.
DENTAL FORCEPS STRUCTURE
A dental forceps structure, including: a fixture body, including an elastic connection portion, two elastic arms formed on two ends of the elastic connection portion, and two bended clamping portions each formed on one end of one of the elastic arms; two accommodation elements, each configured on one of the clamping portions; and two barriers, configured on the respective clamping portions and positioned between the accommodation elements and fixture body, and adapted to isolate the disturbance of surrounding tissues and organs. With the above structure, a user only needs to manually pull the elastic arms apart after placing a water suction element between the accommodation elements and place the clamping portions on the two sides of an affected part, thereby using the elastic force of the elastic connection to contract the elastic arms inward to allow the clamping portions to be naturally fixed on the affected part.
DENTAL AND OTHER PROSTHESIS, APPARATUS AND KIT
