Packaging insert for individual containers
An insert configured for packaging of individual containers having top and bottom portions of different sizes includes a base structure having first and second planes separated by a distance; a plurality of identical base members extending between the first and second planes of the base structure, the base members being evenly distributed about the base structure, each base member further comprising: an outer well open to the first plane and having an at least partial side wall and a bottom surface, the outer well configured to accommodate a larger of the top and bottom portions of one of the glass containers; and an inner well open to the first plane and arranged concentrically within the outer well, the inner well configured to accommodate a smaller of the top and bottom portions of one of the glass containers. An associated method of packaging individual containers is also described.
Closure article with auxiliary fastener
In one aspect, an article is configured to close a first product and attach to a second product. The article includes a tag and a fastener. The tag has a perimeter. The tag includes an aperture and a first cut connecting the aperture and the perimeter. The aperture and first cut are configured to accept a portion of the first product. The fastener is connected to the tag at a joint, wherein the fastener is configured to attach to the second product.

A handle is formed along each longitudinal edge of the array of container receiving apertures. Two or more sets of perforations are formed between each row of container receiving apertures and between center apertures.

A container carrier for unitizing a plurality of containers. The carrier includes a planar sheet of a material and a plurality of container receiving apertures within the planar sheet and arranged in longitudinal rows and transverse ranks. Each of the plurality of container receiving apertures includes a central opening shape and a plurality of clefts radially extending in the planar sheet outward from the central shape to form a plurality of container friction flaps each adapted to extend along a side wall of a corresponding container of the plurality of containers.

A flexible container carrier and related method for unitizing a plurality of containers that includes a plurality of flexible bands forming an array of container receiving apertures, the array arranged in longitudinal rows and transverse ranks. A series of frangible lines of separation are provided between each container receiving opening so that removing a container from the package results in the separation of the frangible lines of separation defining the respective container receiving opening and thus the container and a respective band of the plurality of bands are removed from the package together.

Each upper support structure includes ring members each being configured to receive a container when the upper support structure is in an extended position. The upper and lower support structures in the extended positions are configured to cooperate to support at least one container. Each upper support structure is configured to overlap with a lower support structure when both are in the retracted position. When extended, the handle is configured to be grasped by a user to transport the device with the upper and lower support structures in the extended position.
