Security packaging
A security packaging provides a structure for providing evidence of package tampering. The packaging includes a first panel having an opening, and a foil label at least partially overlaying the opening and at least partially adhered to an insert member. Upon separation of the insert member from the packaging, at least a portion of the foil label is separated from the foil label thereby leaving a visual void in the opening indicating that the separation has occurred.
Cable retainers for packaging
Cable retainers for cables are disclosed. The cable retainers may include a panel having a pair of loop locks. The loop locks may engage each other to form a loop. The cable retainer may include a first and a second retention loop. Each retention loop may have a finger with a slot formed at a fold line of the finger. Each retention loop may also have a flap with a tab formed at a fold line of the flap. The finger and the flap of the first retention loop may be located directly across the panel from one another. The finger of the second retention loop may be located at a first end of the panel while the flap of the second retention loop may be located at a second end of the panel. The tabs and slots of each retention loop may interlock to form a rectangular cable passage. The cable may also include a reinforcement structure disposed in a retention loop. The reinforcement structure may be stepped reinforcement structure. The cable retainer may be formed entirely of paper and may be formed without and adhesive.
Hang Tag
A product display package for an object includes a display portion and a retaining portion. The display portion includes a frame structure with at least one opening that provides a view of the object when disposed in the product display package. The retaining portion includes a first retaining part and a second retaining part. The first retaining part includes a first holding portion with a first set of ribs configured to engage the object. The first set of ribs is angled with respect to a longitudinal axis of the product display package. The second retaining part is configured to mate with the first retaining part such that the second retaining part is secured to the first retaining part. The second retaining part includes a second holding portion with a second set of ribs configured to engage the object.
BOOKBINDING APPARATUS
A bookbinding apparatus includes a sheet aligning unit which stacks and aligns plural sheets having holes formed therein, a binding mechanism which binds the sheets aligned in the sheet aligning unit by conveying a binding component in an axial direction while rotating the binding component in a circumferential direction, a binding component storing unit which stores therein plural binding components; a binding component conveyance path which conveys the binding component from the binding component storing unit to the binding mechanism. The binding component conveyance path forms a curved conveyance path for conveying the binding component with being curved with respect to the axial direction to an end portion of a side of the aligned sheets at which the binding mechanism starts inserting the binding component, at a position that is distant from the end portion by a distance smaller than a length of one binding component.
HANDLING DEVICE FOR A VALUABLE ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A HANDLING DEVICE
The invention relates to a handling device for a valuable article that is usable as a means of payment and is of flat extent or punctiform. The handling device comprises a carrier element of flat extent that is foldable and bendable into a wave form and at least one valuable article fixed thereto. Moreover, the invention relates to a method for manufacturing a handling device for a valuable article.
Paperboard package
A point-of-sale paperboard package having spaced-apart support rails that support packaged article(s), and a top closure affixed to the support rails by packaged article(s). The top closure may include retaining flaps secured to the support rails by packaged article(s) extending through the support rails and the retaining flaps. The top closure may include a hanging tab allowing the package to be suspended from a hanging hook at a point of sale. The support rails and top closure may be defined by consecutive panels folded into a rectangular shape. The top closure may be folded into the space between the support rails to prevent the support rails from unfolding. The retaining flaps may extend from the top closure into the hollow interior of the support rails. The support rails and retaining flaps may define article receiving openings to facilitate insertion of packaged articles. The package may include a bottom closure.
Corrugated skid
A skid for moving and shipping goods in bulk includes top and bottom die-cut blanks of corrugated material that are each folded along score lines to produce two or more double-thickness ribs. Notches cut across the crest of the ribs in the top blank, and slots cut in the bottom blank on both sides of, and part way into the ribs enable the ribs of the top blank to be inserted through the slots in the bottom blank so the top and bottom blanks are brought together face-to-face producing a double thickness deck. The notches and slots of the top and bottom blank ribs are interlocked to lock the ribs in folded, closed position. The ribs protrude from the double-thickness deck of the skid and contact the floor to support the skid deck and its load of goods above the floor for easy access by forked moving equipment.
Security packaging
A security packaging (10) provides multi-layer laminate structure for providing evidence of package tampering. The packaging may include a first panel (12) having an opening (18) therein in planar contact with an insert member (16) and a film layer (20). The film layer (20) may include a pattern layer (32) that may be adhered to the film layer (20) via an adhesion layer (48). A second adhesion layer (52) may be placed onto the pattern layer (32) to adhere the pattern layer (32) to the insert member (16).
