COVER FILM
A cover film having at least (A) a substrate layer, (B) an intermediate layer, (C) an adhesive layer, and (D) a heat seal layer having a heat sealable resin, a thermoplastic resin of the (D) heat sealing layer having a mixture of two types of (meth)acrylic acid ester copolymers having different glass transition temperatures and a hydrazide compound, wherein one of the (meth)acrylic acid ester copolymer in the (meth)acrylic acid ester copolymer mixture has a glass transition temperature of 20 to 10 C. and the other (meth)acrylic acid ester copolymer has a glass transition temperature of 40 to 80 C.
Elastic band package
An article includes a panel of elastic material including an elastic strip and a plurality of elastic bands. The elastic strip has opposed first and second longitudinal edges. The plurality of elastic bands are rupturably connected to the first edge of the elastic strip, each of the bands configured as a loop surrounding a first aperture. A method for obtaining an individual elastic band from an article is also described. The article includes a panel of elastic material including an elastic strip and a plurality of elastic bands. The method includes pulling the individual band from the elastic strip to rupture a connection between the individual band and the elastic strip.
REEL FOR A TAPED SERIES OF ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A reel for a taped series of electronic components includes first and second reel halves. The first reel half includes a first protruding portion and a first flange portion extending radially outward from an end of the first protruding portion. The second reel half includes a second protruding portion and a second flange portion extending radially outward from an end of the second protruding portion. The first and second flange portions each include an outermost end extending in a different direction from the radial direction.

Magazine for packaged integrated circuits
An IC magazine with retractable stop pins at both ends of the IC magazine. The retractable stop pins project into the magazine slot through an opening from a cavity in the base of the IC magazine. The long segment of an L-shaped push rod projects through an opening from the cavity through the magazine rail. The short segment of the L-shaped push rod is coupled to the bottom of the retractable stop pin inside the cavity. A spring inside the cavity between the underside of the short segment and the bottom of the cavity holds the retractable stop pin in an up position. An IC magazine with retractable stop pins at both ends of the IC magazine. The retractable stop pins project into the magazine slot through an opening from a cavity in the base of the IC magazine. A stop collar surrounding the retractable stop pin inside the cavity. A spring inside the cavity that pushes up on the underside of the stop collar and pushes down on the bottom of the cavity.
Sample Collection Device
A sampling device having a lower portion with a sample container. A cap is moveably attached with the lower portion and includes a cutting edge configured for cutting a leaf. When the cap is attached to the lower portion with a leaf there between, a leaf sample is deposited into the sample container of the lower portion. The cap includes a vent in fluid communication with the sample container such that the leaf sample is dried. A detachable label can extend from the lower portion.

Means for monitoring compliance, facilitating automatic dispensing and childproofing strip packaged medications
There is provided an apparatus for monitoring compliance, facilitating automatic dispensing and childproofing strip packaged medication. In one embodiment a dispenser advances a packet, controls advancement of the packet and detects the presence and absence of the packet, including electronic circuitry for recording events. A replicate for strip package medication can have packets with an open conductive trace, each packet being rupturable at a location to interrupt conductivity of the conductive trace. When the conductive trace of one of the packets completes an external circuit, the circuit is interrupted when the packet is ruptured. In another aspect, each packet has a tuned antenna that is tuned to an external transceiver which detects the detuning of each antenna. In a method of making a replicate for strip package medication, conductive ink is printed on a surface of each packet of the replicate and longitudinal edges of the replicate are reinforced.
