ORAL APPLIANCE FOR PROMOTION OF NASAL BREATHING DURING SLEEP
A custom-fitted oral appliance designed without vents to restrict oral breathing is disclosed. When wearing the oral appliance, a wearer (or patient) is encouraged by the appliance to breathe through his/her nose when asleep. The custom-fitted oral appliance is uniquely designed to restrict oral breathing (of the wearer) when asleep, for promoting an optimal breathing routine whenever asleep, which is nasal breathing. The appliance is designed to place a wearer's lower jaw in a relaxed position, keeping it there when asleep.
Systems and methods of producing a customized guidance package equipped appliance
A method of automatically producing or reproducing a customized AGP (Anterior Guidance Package) equipped splint for a patient with or without a severe malocclusion is provided. The method of automatically producing or reproducing an AGP equipped splint according to current invention comprises of combining Virtual Articulation, CAD (Computer Aided Design)-CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) method with AGP and special retentive piece technology. The method of the current invention enables a patient with or without a severe malocclusion to receive his/her customized AGP equipped splint or a replacement thereof automatically without visiting the dentist again and again.
Bonded retainer
A bonded retainer configured to stabilize a plurality of teeth in a jaw, the bonded retainer including a contact surface that is aligned overall with a parabolic curvature of the jaw in a longitudinal direction of the bonded retainer and that is aligned locally with a lingual surface contour of the teeth; a lingual surface that extends lingually in parallel with the contact surface, and retentions that extend from the lingual surface transversal to the longitudinal direction.
CAD-CAM APPLIANCE - A METHOD OF PRODUCING OR REPRODUCING A CUSTOMIZED GUIDANCE PACKAGE EQUIPPED APPLIANCE FOR A PATIENT WITH/WITHOUT A SEVERE MALOCCLUSION VIA ONE TIME DENTIST VISIT
A method of automatically producing or reproducing a customized AGP (Anterior Guidance Package) equipped splint for a patient with or without a severe malocclusion is provided. METHODS OF USING HARDENABLE DENTAL ARTICLES
The present application is directed to a method of using a hardenable dental article. The method can include providing the hardenable dental article; applying the hardenable dental article to a dental structure; customizing the shape of the hardenable dental article; and at least partially curing the hardenable dental article.
Customized Dental Prosthesis For Periodontal or Osseointegration and Related Systems
Custom dental prosthesis or implants each individually designed and manufactured to replace nonfunctional natural teeth positioned in a jawbone of a specific pre-identified patient are provided. An example dental prosthesis/implant includes a dental implant body having a prosthesis interface formed therein to receive an occlusally-facing dental prosthesis component. The prosthesis interface has a custom three-dimensional surface shape positioned and formed to create a form locking fit with respect to the occlusally-facing dental prosthesis component when positioned thereon.

MILL BLANKS BASED ON A POLYMERIZED, FRACTURE-TOUGH PROSTHESIS MATERIAL
The subject matter of the invention is a three-dimensional moulded body, in particular a milling blank, made of a polymerisable prosthetic material, which is suitable for milling machining by means of CNC and/or CAD/CAM, having a fracture toughness of greater than or equal to 1.9 Mpa.Math.m.sup.1/2 and a fracture work of greater than or equal to 900 J/m.sup.2. The milling blank preferably comprises core-shell particles modified by an elastic phase and is optionally based on a content of urethane (meth)acrylate polymerised into the polymer. Moreover, a subject matter of the invention is the use of the milling blanks for the production of at least parts of dental prosthetic parts, such as a prosthesis, artificial teeth, bridges, or of orthodontic appliances and instruments in medical field.
Dental splint device and methods for making and using same
Disclosed is a method of fabricating a dental splint for stabilizing mobile or unstable teeth or firmly rooted teeth to prevent orthodontic relapse. The fabricating of the dental splint includes the steps of: a patient's dental arch to determine if lingual reduction is required, creating a representative model of the patient's dental arch, manipulating the representative model to select a group of teeth to be included in the dental splint and to define the height and length of a one-piece extracoronal component customized to the dentition of a patient; fabricating the one-piece extracoronal component, dry fitting the fabricated one-piece extracoronal component to confirm proper fit, and adhering the fabricated one-piece extracoronal component to the mobile or unstable teeth, wherein the one-piece extracoronal component adheres to the lingual aspect of the teeth and appears substantially non-visible facially.
RETAINER
A retainer for straightening and/or for maintaining the front teeth positioning achieved during orthodontic therapy, having at least two connection pieces for fastening the retainer on one tooth in each case and having a connection wire for establishing a connection among the teeth and/or for forming a constraint to restrict the movement capabilities of the connected teeth. In order to be able to prevent compensation reactions by the body, the connection wire is movably mounted in at least one of the connection pieces.
