A fluid package, having a pouch with a compartment apartment delimited by a film and a spout, is provided. The film includes an outer layer, an inner layer, a light-shielding layer, and a bonding layer. An outer periphery of the light-shielding layer is located at a position on an inner side of outer peripheries of the outer layer and the inner layer, at one of a position same as an outer periphery of the container compartment and a position on an outer side with respect to the outer periphery of the container compartment. The light-shielding layer covers an entirety of the container compartment and blocks ultraviolet rays. The bonding layer bonds the outer layer and the inner layer with the light-shielding layer interposed there-between. The bonding layer includes a directly-bonded area, in which the outer layer and the inner layer are directly bonded, in a range surrounding the light-shielding layer.

In a welded film laminate 1, a second protective layer 14 of a first film substrate 2 and a third protective layer 22 of a second film substrate 3 are welded and fixed to each other by an adhesive layer melted out from at least one of a first adhesive layer 11 to a fourth adhesive layer 27 via a first melted penetration portion 6a of the second protective layer 14 and/or a second melted penetration portion 6b of the third protective layer 22. Disclosed herein films and packages formed therefrom for packaging oxygen-sensitive products. The films include a product contact layer comprising COC and catalyst. Introduction of a gas flush including hydrogen gas to a package made from said films helps provide for the catalytic combination of molecular hydrogen and molecular oxygen to remove oxygen from a headspace of the package.

Easy tear package
A consumable product package assembly includes at least one consumable product and a package for enclosing the at least one product. The package includes an elongate body portion surrounding the product and a longitudinal seal extending at least partially along the length of the body portion. The seal has a pair of longitudinally spaced notches extending transversely to the distal edge of the seal. The notches define a grasping tab therebetween to initiate tearing of the body portion of the package transversely about the product. The body portion further includes at least one score location extending between the notches to weaken the package thereat to facilitate controlled tearing of the body portion.

A consumable product package assembly includes at least one consumable product and a package for enclosing the at least one product. MULTI-LAYER FILM AND RECLOSABLE FILM PACKAGE
A multi-layer film and a film package made from the film are described herein that provide resealing capabilities by utilizing a tacky layer within the multi-layer film. The multi-layer film can include an outer film portion including the embedded tacky layer and an inner film portion. An opening feature formed in the multi-layer film includes a flap configured to be manipulated by a user to create an opening through the multi-layer film. The inner film portion can include a release layer configured specifically to interact with the tacky layer to provide a desired separation peel force and resealing functionalities. The outer film portion can include an outer film layer disposed on an opposite side of the tacky layer from the release layer that is configured to permanently adhere to the tacky layer.
